Guest RedJed Report post Posted December 12, 2002 Not a bad show by any means, but I have to be honest.......I missed the unpredictability and out of control factor that we saw last week. I was expecting a much more angle driven show with the SEX-Old school storyline and there wasn't as much emphasis on it tonight really. I'm sure most people are fine by that and maybe even relieved, but I'm not. Definately was hoping for another oldschool staple of the business to show up tonight, and that didn't happen at all. With that said, there still was a few things tonight that were interesting. Wrestling-wise, it was alright, but nothing caught my eye as good other than the Red-Styles match and the opener. I think it's a great idea to have Pringle manage AMW in a feud with Mitchell and the NC. Pringle matched up with Mitchell just makes total sense and will surely add more fuel to this awesome feud. The ending with Styles running in on Jarrett caught me off guard, so I guess there was some unpredictability here after all. I hope this leads more to just a one match thing, in fact I don't even think I want to see this match already next week. Build this up, and have Styles joining the SEX group next week and perhaps even do something with Plumtree in maybe turning him face(?) when Styles and Russo stretcher him out. I don't know how many will buy Plumtree as a face, but the oldschool side needs a manager of some sort, and maybe if done right, Plumtree is the person. Decent interaction with all of the Armstrongs, but I thought they should have went down a more vicious path with James to get him over more as a heel. Looking sympathetic after hitting Bob was weak, IMO. Siaki winning the X title pissed me off, he's not ready yet at all. But Lynn can get over fine without the belt, and it should be interesting to see where they go with him now. Most likely into the main SEX-Oldschool angle or something. Siaki-Money should be a good match next week, and it makes sense why they had them as a team that one week, now that you look back. Estrada should be let go, on a side note. He completely sucks in the ring nowadays. Still not impressed with Divine Storm either, but that doesn't seem to matter since they are dead-set on pushing them.
