Crimson Losers...

I think I have SJL disease where I really like the matches I write that lose and am all *bleh* towards the ones that win. Anyway, comments would be appreciated...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Welcome back to another pulse pounding edition of SJL Crimson!" yells Axis as The Suicide King is sent sprawling back at the sudden explosion of noise from his broadcast colleague. "We just had one hell of a tag match between two tag teams I am sure we will hear absolutely nothing about in the future. That was probably be the only time you will see those guys together, so I hope you all got a good look."

"That's actually a rather accurate assessment for once, Axis. Although it might be a good idea to keep the volume down a bit, some people have televisions with sound now so, you know, you don't have to yell loud enough for them to hear you all the way from Iowa.”

"But I'm so EXCITED!" shouts a rather unsympathetic Axis.

"Argh!" moans King as he puts his head down on the announcers' desk.

"... About this next match," finishes Axis, "Finally, after more than a week of waiting, Janus is finally going to get his shot at the SJL European Title that Ejiro Fasaki and The Magnificent Seven have had a stranglehold on for more than a month now."

"Ejiropean," mutters King from his spot on the desk, "And Janus might be big and strong and all, but he's not the wrestling technician that Ejiro Fasaki is and I think we all know it."

"I don't know about that King, Janus uses his natural abilities to their fullest extent. He's not going to start using arm bars because you and Fasaki want him to work a certain way. The man is as strong as a herd of bulls, for the love of Mike."

"Who's Mike?"

"It's an expression, King."

"I see. And you love him like the HVille Thugg likes peanut brittle?"

"There is no Mike."

"Tisk. Still in the closet after all these years, you know, Axis, just because Australia is a land of intolerance doesn't mean you have to keep in all your poofta qualities."

"Let's go to Funyon with the introductions..."

As the man with the microphone struts to the center of the ring, the assembled people of Iowa give him absolutely no reaction. See, they want to make sure that they hear the introductions as clearly as they can. Because Iowa is so very dull. You see where I'm going with this? Okay, good.

"This match is scheduled for two out of three falls and is for The SJL European Championship. Introducing first..."

As the lights go down to nothing, a spotlight begins to sweep about the arena before settling on the stage as the gentle sound of "As Darkness Falls" begins to haunt the outer reaches of the arena. Finally, as the sound of the music begins to reach a crescendo, a lightning bolt strikes the stage as Janus strides out from behind the curtain. Taking one big step up to the ring apron, Janus turns to the crowd and lifts his arms to the air as the fans give 'The Anti-Heel Machine' a resounding cheer.

"Introducing first, the challenger... He stands seven foot, two inches tall and weighs in at a sense staggering 350 pounds. From Sydney, Australia, this is JANUSSSSSSS!"

"And boy does Janus look ready for this contest, King. I don't think I've ever seen him this determined."

"What, are you blind, Axis? Is that tape Janus has wrapped around his right shoulder invisible? Obviously, Janus is still suffering the effects from that missed shoulder tackle into a crate from the battle on the fisherman's wharf. Oh boy, you just know that Ejiro is going to go to work on that thing with a vengeance."

"And his opponent..." shouts out Funyon to a suddenly less-than-happy Iowa crowd.

Biohazard's "Sellout" roars from the sound system as the crowd expresses their disdain with the Ejiropean Champion. Stepping through the curtain with an evil smile on his face, Ejiro takes a moment to savor the hatred of the crowd before pulling the European Title off his waist and raising it into the air. Laughing at the even louder boos; Ejiro steps down that aisle before hopping up to the apron. Climbing up to the middle rope and raising the title high into the air, Ejiro is silhouetted by pyrotechnics blasting from the turnbuckles. Stepping up and over the ropes, Ejiro laughs widely like some sort of super villain as he shoves the European Title belt into the hands of referee Sexton Hardcastle. Looking at his larger opponent, Fasaki patiently waits for Funyon to complete his announcing duties as Janus paces back and forth in his corner, like a tiger waiting to bring down its prey.

"He weighs in 188 pounds and hails from Sarasota, Florida. He is a member of The Magnificent Seven and would like to let everyone here in Iowa know, that even the British Royal Family has better teeth than you do. He is the SJL Ejiropean Champion... EJIROOOOOO FASAKIIIIII!"

Pulling off his Magnificent Seven T-Shirt off his back, Ejiro once again displays that he has put a support band around his ribs, still suffering from the damage they took in that epic scaffold match against The WildChild. Bouncing off the ropes a little to stretch himself out, Ejiro shows no real effects from his injury, although he has yet to have a 350 pound man go to work on them yet, either. As both men size each other, Axis and The King go over the competitors’ probable strategies for this encounter.

"The thing about these 2 out of 3 falls contests, King, is that they generally favor the men with the better stamina. Ands while one might think that favors the smaller Fasaki; I have it on good authority that Janus has always stressed that part of his training. So I don’t think you're going to see him wilt in the later minutes of a match like you usually see a man of his size do."

"Well, be that as it may," counters King, "once Ejiro gets Janus down to the canvas, he will be able to work circles around the larger man. Fasaki is much more flexible than Janus could possibly be, given his size."

"One more thing quickly worth mentioning before this match gets under way," finishes Axis, "Ejiro will not be enjoying his usual champion's advantage tonight. If he loses two falls via disqualification or count out, he will lose the European title."

Holding the European Title Belt high in the air for the fans in attendance, Hardcastle passes the belt to Funyon and immediately signals to the timekeeper to get the match under way.

DING! DING! DING!

Squaring off, Ejiro flexes his neck and arms for a few moments as Janus casually steps to the center of the ring, where he knows he has to win this match. Refusing to even advance on his opponent, Janus stands tall as Ejiro paces in front of his bear sized opposition. Finally and slowly stepping into the center of the ring, the two competitors lock up for the briefest of moments before a mild shrug sends Ejiro flying into a turnbuckle. Moving in, Janus moves his forearm like an axe and sends it rocketing towards an already moving Fasaki. Quickly ducking to one side, Ejiro uses his speed advantage to escape from his opponent's blow. Quickly throwing a series of right hands into the shoulder of The Machine, Ejiro attempts to gain some semblance of an advantage. But Janus didn't get this far by letting people take advantage of him. So quickly reaching out, Janus grabs Fasaki around the throat and quickly pushes The European Champion back into the corner. This time forgoing the fists, Janus simply buries his injured shoulder into Ejiro's chest like as battering ram. Again and again as The Referee counts away, Janus slams his shoulder deep into Fasaki's ribs. Finally breaking at the count of four, Janus backs a holds his shoulder for just a moment for just a second before grabbing a hold of Ejiro by the wrist. Using all of his body weight, Janus sends Ejiro across the ring like a freight train and when Fasaki collides with the turnbuckle, he comes flying out of the corner like a pinball before falling to the mat.

"You can already see that Janus is going to be using his strength advantage to his fullest," remarks Axis, "And he keeps it simple and doesn't make any mistakes, Ejiro Fasaki's reign of terror over The European Title could be coming to an end."

Casually strolling over to the wounded Champion, Janus reaches out of grabs Ejiro by the throat and the top of the head once again and casually picks him off the canvas like a grocery bag. Taking a little step towards the center of the ring, Janus flings Ejiro across the ring with a head toss that sends Ejiro shooting across the ring like a copy of Mark Twain at a book burning. Struggling to find his feet and escape the giant, Ejiro is too wobbly for the punishment he’s already received to escape the charge of the ‘Anti-Heel Machine’ as he runs strait over Fasaki with a mammoth clothesline that sends The Ejiropean Champion into a complete 360 degree flip before he lands on his chest. Again flexing his shoulder after the impact, Janus never the less drops into a little crouch and motions to Ejiro to get to his feet. Rushing forward again for another clothesline, Janus leaves himself wide open for an Ejiro counter attack, as Fasaki drops down low and takes the giant down with a drop toe hold and quickly floats over the top and grabs Janus in an arm bar.

“Finally,” sighs King, “Ejiro takes Janus down to the canvas. Now you’ll see some real wrestling. Now you’ll see …”

Axis interrupts King quickly, “But right now, you’re seeing Janus getting right back up!”

Fighting up against the pressure of the arm bar with relative ease, Janus quickly stands tall as Ejiro looks back and forth to the crowd with a ‘what the hell do I do now?’ look on his face. Ejiro doesn’t have long to wait before Janus makes the decision for him by reaching around with his left hand and pulling Ejiro down to the canvas by the hair. Quickly picking Ejiro off the canvas and putting on a wristlock, Janus quickly swings his tree trunk legs up and into his opponent again and again, sending the European Champion hopping into the air with each and every impact. Holding on to the arm, Janus easily sends Ejiro into the ropes like a missile. Raising his boot up high, Janus buries it deep within the face of The European champion as he returns to the center of the ring. Looking out to the crowd, Janus roars as he lifts his right hand into the air!

Axis revels in this, “Janus is setting up for the chokeslam! He’s been winning a whole bunch of matches with it lately in hardcore brawls. But you know it is going to be just as effective here as well!”

Ejiro slowly staggers up to his feet until a vise wraps itself around his neck! Janus looks out to the crowd for a moment, savoring his moment until, going on instinct, Ejiro throws off the choke and takes Janus down with a Fujiwara arm bar!

“Ha!” shouts King, “Ejiro had that move scouted out perfectly! Now, he’ll keep that oaf on the canvas and wear him down.”

“You’ve said that before, King,” counters Axis, “and Janus got right back up.”

Grinding against Janus’ injured right shoulder, Ejiro wrenches back on the arm with as much force as he can. But he just cannot keep the mighty Janus on the canvas. Using only the strength in his left arm and legs, the machine pushes himself and Fasaki up and off the mat. Shocked out of his mind, Fasaki releases his grip on the arm and tries to once again pound on the shoulder joint. But Janus merely brings a big knee up and into Ejiro’s ribs and sends the European champion staggering away to the turnbuckles. Rubbing his shoulder once again to inspect it for any damage, Janus sneers at his opposition and, in a moment of rage, breaks into a run right at The European Champion. Putting his head down, Janus goes for the move that originally caused his injury, the gore. But once again, the move costs him as Ejiro sidesteps the charge and sends Janus’ 350 pounds right into the turnbuckles at full speed! Quickly turning the machine around, Ejiro boots the challenger in the gut and quickly pulls up on his arms for…

“EJIROCATION?!?!?!” yells Axis, “He’ll never be able to lift Janus!”

“Yes he will!” pleads King, “Fasaki’s got the inner intestinal fortitude you’re always talking about! He’s got the guts. He’s got the fire!”

“He’s got himself in the mighty grip of Janus!”

Easily breaking out of the double arm, Janus wraps his mighty arms around Ejiro’s legs and stands strait up! With Ejiro flailing desperately to escape, Janus walks around the ring with the European Champion on his back like a knapsack before slinging Ejiro’s body all the way around to the canvas with a high angle spinebuster! With Ejiro laid out in a daze, Janus puts his hands on his hips and looks out to the crowd for few moments, before lifting an arm high into the air…

“He’s pointing to the top rope! Is Janus going to fly?” questions Axis in a giddy voice.

Slowly stepping out to the apron, Janus makes his way up to the top rope as the crowd of fans climb to their feet in anticipation of seeing a seven footer taking to the air. Steadying himself on the top, Janus looks out to the fans one more time before making the leap of faith!

“FROG SPLASH!” screams Axis as the 350 pounds of Janus crash down across Fasaki’s unmoving form! Janus reaches back and hooks a leg as Sexton Hardcastle counts…

“And just like that, Janus takes the one fall lead King! And boy did has he been dominate thus far in this match up tonight,” yells Axis into his headset as Funyon makes the announcement…

“The winner of the first fall, JANUS! There will now be a one minute rest period before the second fall begins.”

“Hey,” grumbles King, “That’s not fair! Ejiro isn’t even conscious, the referee should at least wake the guy up before the second fall gets underway.”

“Sorry King,” says Axis, “But that doesn’t fall under the rules set forth by the commissioner’s office. And boy, is Ejiro in danger of losing his precious title belt now. He’s down one fall to none, and Janus has done nothing but mash his ribs all match long. Meanwhile, all of Ejiro’s offensive spurts have been cut off at the pass by the Anti-heel Machine.”

“He can still come back, Axis. Ejiro isn’t finished yet! He can pull this out, I know he can! That big goof cannot just keep throwing a wrestler as good as Fasaki around the ring at will. It cannot be done. It would be like Annie Eclectic taking a shower with CIA.”

“You know that just happened a few days ago?” mentions Axis.

“What? What the devil is going on here!? Did I die and go to wrestling hell?” moans King as his head nearly explodes from all the pent up frustration.

DINGDINGDING!

“And we are off once again!” shouts Axis as the second fall begins, “And, King, I don’t think Ejiro Fasaki moved a muscle during that entire rest period. He might actually be unconscious.”

Looking to polish Ejiro off as quickly as he can, Janus covers The European Champion again for the…

THRE…NAHHHHHHHHHHHNO!

Ejiro Fasaki just barely manages to sneak a shoulder out from underneath Janus’ might form. Stepping off his opponent, Janus gets that look in his eye again as he raises an eyebrow to the fans. Pointing once again at the top rope, Janus lets the fans in on his plan before making that long climb to the top rope once again.

“Janus is going to the top again! He’s going to drop all 350 pounds on top of Fasaki and wrap up that European Title once and for all!” shouts Axis enthusiastically.

Standing on the top rope once again, Janus looks forward to his destiny before leaping high into the air and coming crashing down…

On the mat! Ejiro rolls out of the way of the 350 pound wrecking ball as it comes crashing down into the middle of the ring!

The Suicide King laughs, “Ejiro was just setting Janus up! Ejiro knew that the machine would try and follow up with something high impact and he took advantage! What a brilliant wrestler!”

Springing to his feet as Janus struggles from having knocked the wind out of himself, Ejiro measures up his huge opponent. Springing against the ropes, Ejiro comes back with the added momentum and drives the soles of his boots into a kneeling Janus’ head with a dropkick that sends the Giant tumbling to the canvas. Hopping right back to his feet, Ejiro concentrates a flurry of stomps directly on the shoulder of the Machine as Janus struggles up to his knees again. Quickly trying to keep Janus down on the canvas, Ejiro slips to the side of the kneeling giant and grabs a hold of Janus’ right arm. Falling back towards the mat, Fasaki jams Janus’ shoulder against the canvas with a single arm DDT. Janus roars out in pain while holding onto his shoulder as Fasaki quickly scrambles right back out of the big man’s reach. Darting back in, Fasaki drives an elbow down across Janus’ shoulder again and again in order to subdue his larger opponent.

“What did I tell you, Axis?” gloats the Suicide King, “Ejiro got him down on the canvas and now he’s wearing that shoulder out. Ejiro really got the most out of that one minute respite.”

Once again, Janus struggles to get himself off the canvas and only gets to his knees before Ejiro goes to work. Coming in from the side, Ejiro swings his legs around and catches Janus in the head with a back brain kick! Janus says up for just a second before slumping right back down to the canvas in a heap. Ejiro quickly moves in to capitalize and pushes Janus over with a half nelson before Referee Sexton Hardcastle counts…

ONE!

TWO!

THR…NOOOOOO! Janus presses the 188 pounds of the European Champion off of him with a mammoth kick out that sends Ejiro flying! Getting to his feet and totally peeved, Ejiro goes on the assault with a flurry of stomps to the head and chest. But Janus just shrugs off the pain as he continues to fight his way up to his feet. Ejiro continues to try and pound Janus back to the canvas but Janus isn’t going down that easily. Finally, Janus makes the final surge up to his feet as Ejiro suddenly looks a lot less confident at his chances. Throwing another punch, Ejiro is shocked as Janus sucks up the pain and looks right at Fasaki with a sneer. Ejiro throws yet another punch, but this time, Janus blocks the blow and responds with one of his own! And then another! And a third! Janus shoots Ejiro into the ropes and meets him coming back with a big boot to the head! Quickly motioning to the fans, Janus slaps his hands together three times before hitting the ropes…

“You have GOT to be kidding me,” deadpans King.

AND DROPS THE LEG OF DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

ONE!

TWO!

THR…NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

“Ejiro just barely kicked out, Brother,” emotes Axis as everyone at home wishes to kill him in the most gruesome way possible.

Pulling Ejiro up, Janus hauls The European Champion into position and presses him high into the air! Holding him high up there though, puts too much stress on Janus’ shoulder and Ejiro is able to slips out of the giant’s grasp and fall down to his feet behind Janus. Quickly shoving Janus forward, Fasaki not only catches the anti-heel machine off guard but also the referee!

“Janus just ran over Hardcastle!” yells King, “He should be immediately disqualified for that horrendous action! And then he should be disqualified again! Yeah!”

With Hardcastle down, Ejiro tries to take advantage of the situation by hitting a stunned Janus from behind. Ramming his elbow into Janus’ chest appears to be momentarily effective and Ejiro sends the big man against the ropes and before taking to the air with a dropkick, but Janus simply swats Ejiro’s legs away and sends the European Champion to the canvas. Quickly getting up to his feet, Ejiro cannot escape Janus’ grip as he tightly wraps up Fasaki’s head with a left armed front facelock. Grabbing Ejiro by the tights with his other hand, Janus lifts his opponent high into the air before spiking him into the mat with an implant DDT! Janus pushes Ejiro over onto his back and quickly hooks a leg…

THREE!

“It doesn’t count when you count it from here, Axis!” shouts King to his partner, “Hardcastle is still down and you know it!”

Rolling off of Ejiro, Janus moves to check on the official as Fasaki rolls out of the ring and to the arena floor. Staggered, Ejiro stumbles over to Funyon’s position on the side of the ring. Shoving the ring announcer aside, Ejiro picks up Funyon’s metal folding chair and slides back into the ring as Janus continues to try and revive the official by pulling him up to the corner as Ejiro slips back into the ring.

“Get him while you can, Ejiro!” calls King, “Smash his brains across the ring!”

“This is terrible! This is terrible! Wait a minute, King! This is WILDCHILD!!!”

Sprinting down the aisle, the man from the Bahamas comes flying into the ring behind Ejiro as the member of The Magnificent Seven cocks back the chair with which to plaster Janus. Grabbing the chair away from a shocked Ejiro, WildChild grabs a hold of weapon and brings it flying right across Ejiro’s face!

Just as Janus has the referee back up…

DINGDINGDING!

Referee Sexton Hardcastle signals for the disqualification as Ejiro rolls all the way out of the ring, blood dripping from his forehead due to that devastating chair shot. Funyon calls out to the fans…

“Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner of the second fall by disqualification… EEEEEEJIROOOOOO FASAKIIIIII!”

Furious at this unwanted intrusion, Janus strides right up into WildChild’s face and shoves the high flyer down to the canvas. Getting right back up, WildChild’s features contort from apologetic to rage at this assault on his person.

“What’s this?” Axis questions, “WildChild was trying to help Janus before Ejiro could hit him with that chair and now Janus is in his face.”

The Suicide King laughs, “But Janus never asked for WildChild to get involved here. The big man probably thought he had this whole thing wrapped up and WildChild cost him the fall!”

Shoving Janus back on his heels, WildChild loudly proclaims his innocence to the ‘Anti-Heel Machine’ who is only thinking about how the European Title is slipping out of his grasp. Turning to one side, Janus weighs his options for a moment and then blasts WildChild in the face with a huge right hand! WildChild gamely fights back with some punches of his own, but Janus drives a knee into his chest to stop the rally. Sending WildChild into the ropes, Janus tries to lift the man from the Bahamas into a slam but WildChild easily slips out and dropkicks Janus in the back. Stumbling forward into the ropes, Janus sits there for a moment while WildChild gets together a head of steam and plasters the giant with the Chiclets Buster! WildChild quickly steps back into the ring to get another bit of the person he came to help, but Sexton Hardcastle is there to push him back to a corner as a horde of officials stream from the back. Sullenly, WildChild steps out to the floor and allows the officials to hasten him to the back as Janus lies on the canvas holding his shoulder, which took the brunt of that lethal kick.

“Boy, WildChild made a mess out of this match, Axis. He’s cost Janus a fall and he’s injured the man to boot.”

“He was just trying to keep Ejiro from hitting Janus with a chair!” defends Axis, “WildChild’s motives were pure no matter what you might think, King. He just let that legendary temper get away from him when Janus got in his face about it and took a unprovoked swing at him.”

“Unprovoked? Janus has every right to be angry with that Clown!,” shouts King.

DINGDINGDING!

“No more time for that, King. It appears as though the third and deciding fall is about to get underway. And Ejiro Fasaki looks to be the better for the break than the injured Janus.”

His face a little bloody from the laceration WildChild gave him, Ejiro slides back into the ring as Janus holds his shoulder while standing in a corner. Rushing forward, Ejiro leaps into the air and drives a knee into Janus’ large back and drives his shoulder into the turnbuckle. Wincing in pain, Janus drops to one knee as his shoulder continues to plague his ability to wrestle effectively. Jumping on the injured machine, Ejiro once again uses the point of his elbow to go on the offense with a flurry of shots to the shoulder. Taking Janus’ massive arm and turning it into a chicken wing, Ejiro rams the massive man back into the corner with as much force as he can muster up.

“Ejiro is really going to work on that shoulder, King. I would have to assume he’s going to try to lock on his dreaded cobra crossface at some point in this match.”

Taking Janus’ arm and wrapping it around the top rope, Ejiro leans back and swings his leg up against Janus’ arm again and again in an effort to knock the shoulder out of the socket. Stepping back for just a moment when Sexton Hardcastle requests a break, Ejiro takes a quick step and dropkicks Janus right in the shoulder. The giant grips his shoulder in pain as he stumbles down to one knee under Ejiro’s pressure. Quickly turning on a dime, Ejiro slams his screaming elbow across Janus’ temple and knocks the machine down to the canvas. Leaning over Janus and hooking a leg, Fasaki holds on tightly as Hardcastle counts...

ONE!

TWO!

TH...NAAHHHHHHHHNOOOOOO! Janus uses his powerful legs to kick himself free of Fasaki’s grip and keep his hope of winning the European title alive. But Ejiro is not just going to allow Janus to walk back into this match and he quickly grabs Janus around the throat, choking the big man out for all he’s worth. Breaking at the count at four, Ejiro scrambles to his feet and goes back to stomping away at the shoulder of the Anti-Heel Machine. Pulling Janis off the canvas by the arm and winds it up into a wrist lock that causes Janus to double over a bit in pain. Throwing his leg over Janus’ arm, Ejiro hops into the air in an attempt to drive Janus down with the ‘Fasaki fuser’ but...

“Janus stands tall!” calls out Axis; “He just flipped Fasaki all the way over and back onto his feet!”

Stunned from the rapid spin, Ejiro is defenseless when Janus quickly drives a knee up and into Fasaki’s ribs. Again, Janus lifts his knee into Ejiro’s chest and again, Ejiro feels the effects of the blow. Sending Ejiro into the ropes, Janus ducks his head a moment and sends Ejiro flying up into the air with a huge backdrop! Ejiro Fasaki stumbles up for a moment, before Janus lifts him up with his left arm. Holding the European Champion tightly, Janus drives Ejiro down across his knee with a side backbreaker before hauling him back up for a moment. Swinging his body around as quickly as possible, Janus hops into the air and brings Ejiro crashing to the canvas with a whirling, crushing sideslam. Reaching back, Janus hooks the legs as Hardcastle counts...

ONE!

TWO!

THREEEEEGAHHHHHHHNOOOOOOOO! Fasaki just barely gets a shoulder up before Hardcastle can make the final count. Holding his head in frustration, Janus never the less pulls his long frame off the canvas in preparation for what he has planned next. Again sending Ejiro into the ropes, Janus lifts his big boot up to clobber Fasaki once again in the face. But the wily European Champion quickly rolls underneath the outstretched kick, and when he rises, Ejiro quickly hooks Janus underneath the arm and trips him backward to the canvas with the STO. Hopping to the middle ropes as quickly as his body can carry him, Fasaki propels his body backward and lands across Janus with a lionsault. Bouncing off his challenger, Ejiro grits his teeth as the pain from his ribs reaches his brain. But anyway, Fasaki slowly crawls over Janus as the referee counts...

ONE!

TWO!

THREEEEAAHHHHHHHNOOOOOOOO!

“That moment of hesitation might have cost Fasaki, what a miscalculation on his part to use a move that would damage his chest even more,” calls Axis.

“Yeah,” King concurs, “He might even be in bigger trouble if WildChild had not been ever so helpful when he interfered in this match.”

“King, you are really pushing my buttons now. WildChild was there to help Janus and you know it!”

“Remind me never to let him help me, okay?”

Pushing the rising Janus back into a corner, Ejiro mounts the middle rope and rapidly tries to knock Janus loopy with a flurry of quick right hands to the head. Again and again, the member of The Magnificent Seven drives his knuckles into Janus’ face. But the giant soon has enough of that and wraps his muscled left arm around Ejiro’s chest. Walking to the center of the ring, Janus drops down to one knee and rings Fasaki’s bell with a spine shattering reverse atomic drop. Stretching into an ark of pain, Ejiro staggers in a complete circle as Janus waits patiently. As Ejiro finally comes back face to face with his opponent, the giant quickly lifts his big boot and plants it right underneath Fasaki’s jaw, sending the champion down to the canvas.

“Janus is rolling once again,” encourages Axis, “this might be his chance to take this match and the European Title away.”

“Not after the damage WildChild did to him in a malicious attack witnessed by the thousands in attendance tonight,” mocks King, “Boy, it is fun to talk like that Axis, no wonder you act all offended so much.”

Looking out to the fans one more time, Janus slowly lifts his right arm into the air, signaling to everyone that there is a chokeslam on the way! Finally, the dazed Fasaki makes his way up to his feet before Janus clamps his big hand around Ejiro’s throat. Dragging Ejiro around just a bit, Janus uses both arms to haul Fasaki high into the air! But Janus is not prepared for what happens next, as, in midair, Ejiro wraps his legs around the arm that grips him so tightly and pulls it down into an armbar! Unable to do anything about it, Janus slumps down to a knee as Fasaki puts all of the weight he can on the arm. Quickly scissoring the Machine’s arm and head with his legs, Ejiro pulls with all his might as Janus struggles against the pain!

“What a counter by Fasaki!” exclaims King, “He’s got Janus in what almost appears to be a reverse cross armbreaker!”

Janus fights the pain, as Ejiro continues to tighten his vise grip around the injured shoulder and head of his opponent. Trying to muscle up against the pressure, Janus fights to get back up to his feet but cannot find the leverage he needs to complete the escape. Falling to the canvas, Janus makes a horrifying discovery and....

TAP! TAP! TAP!

“He submits! He submits! The big man throws in the towel!” roars King in victory, “I told you that Ejiro would get him on the mat and do that. I did! Man, if only WildChild hadn’t tainted this match with such an unprovoked...”

“Shut up, King,” grumbles Axis as Funyon calls through the microphone...

“The winner of the third fall and STILL SJL European Champion.... EEEEEEJIROOOOO FASAKIIIIIII!”

“Bastard,” mumbles Axis.

“What? Ejiro wrestled a good clean match and came out on top. What did he do that was so wrong in that match? He didn’t cheat or anything! I’m sure if we could ask Janus right now, he would agree.”

But King is not going to get that chance as Janus is quickly released from Fasaki’s arm bar. Ejiro quickly rolls all the way out of the ring as Janus quickly gets up to one knee, cradling his wounded arm. On the floor, Ejiro grabs his title belt away from Funyon as he makes a hasty retreat up the entranceway. Where at the top of the ramp, he turns and raises the European Title belt high in the air as he backs through the curtain. Leaving only Janus in the ring, seething just under the surface at how close he was this night to claiming championship gold. Getting up to his feet, Janus stares into the camera with dead eyes as we...

Hey Ejiro, now we both have something in common! We lost titles on the same show!

Anyways, i really don't know. Janus match was pretty good and all but so was yours. I'm at a loss trying to decide which one i liked better. This is still good though. I honestly feel like it was time for you to pass the second tier title down so you could go for the World.

Nothing's stoping you now, Ejiro. :)

Wow. I really liked your match - the choice had to be close. I was actually rather sure that you'd beat me out as you have the experience, but I guess not...

What, are you blind, Axis? Is that tape Janus has wrapped around his right shoulder invisible?

Left shoulder. Not right. Just a friendly pointer. ;)

*marks out like a five-year-old* This was a classic move. Maybe I should have him execute it like that more often :D I absolutely loved it. Then again, I'm a sucker for Hogan's style.

“This is terrible! This is terrible! Wait a minute, King! This is WILDCHILD!!!”

The whole scene with Wildchild was well worked. Unintentionally got Janus DQ'd, and when Janus' temper started to slip, Wildchild's did, and all hell broke loose. Very, very nice. Good thing his attack was in the rest period or you coulda gotten a quick fall ;)

Falling to the canvas, Janus makes a horrifying discovery and....

TAP! TAP! TAP!

“He submits! He submits! The big man throws in the towel!”

And Janus loses in resounding style, by learning he not only can be pinned, but made to tap out!!

I loved the match as a whole, and can't really see how you lost out to mine. Like I said before, I'm guessing it must have been a real tight decision. You could always try and get your title back. B-)

But Johnny! Fugue has the World Title now! I cannot fight a fellow member of the Mag7, we're all just so very close... Fugue's like the brother Ejiro never wanted. But... but... I cannot just let WildChild beat me either, he's my most heated rival! GASP! WHAT WILL EJIRO DO NOW!?!?!?!

Hey J,

I looked at your wharf match and never saw you say which arm was hurt... so I picked the one that would do me the most good :)

The whole WildChild thing was there to 1) cost you a cheap fall so you wouldn't get pinned twice and 2) to injure you so I could get the submission. I thought it all came off pretty well, although I don't know if it could have all happened in a minute.

Of course The Ejiropean Title is mine... it has my name and everything

fatal 3 way? 2/3 falls 3 way... you know. The one you told me i wouldn't get to see RVD in? So since you won't allow me to see HHH vs HBK vs RVD in a initial war, 2/3 falls match, i call this.

Ejiro Fasaki! "EF"

Johnny Dangerous! "JTBD"

Fugue! "F... uhh U, yeah that'll do."

Three Way 2/3 Falls match. I'll get to see it or read it one! ;)
