Guest pappajacks Posted December 13, 2002 Report Posted December 13, 2002 I haven't watched Smackdown yesterday, any other confirmed matches for the PPV? wwe.com has only 4 confirmed matches so far. I guess the 2/3 falls will take half the PPV in terms of time.
Guest Kingpk Posted December 13, 2002 Report Posted December 13, 2002 Maybe RVD will have a televised hot wing eating contest at the World? Why would we need more matches? We're already getting HHHHHHHHH (HHH x3).
Guest notJames Posted December 13, 2002 Report Posted December 13, 2002 Ask and ye shall receive: Armageddon 2002 card
Guest Muzz Posted December 13, 2002 Report Posted December 13, 2002 That's one of the shabbiest looking cards since... last PPV. Only one match would interest me, maybe one or two others could suprise me...
Guest notJames Posted December 13, 2002 Report Posted December 13, 2002 So here's the dilemna: Do I... go to my buddy's house to watch the monthly PPV with the gang as we have for 5 years (at a low low cost of $5), knowing it's going to suck the big one but made watchable because of our collective tooling of the program? ... or do I... stay at home to tape the Sunday Fox Trinity (Futurama/Simpsons/King of the Hill) since they're all new and I bitch and moan every month for missing them? (And before you ask, I tape the shows without commercials, so I have to be there. And yes, TiVo would make my life inifintely easier, but my disposable income has been reduced to nil by baby diapers and my wife's inexorable Yuletide generosity.)
Guest converge241 Posted December 13, 2002 Report Posted December 13, 2002 maybe they will change Shawn - trips to a best of 7 to fill up time
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted December 13, 2002 Report Posted December 13, 2002 James, why don't you just tape the animated goodness with commercials and go riff on Albert? That's what I'm doing.
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted December 13, 2002 Report Posted December 13, 2002 A Christopher Nowinski vs. Maven match has apparently been added to the WWE Armageddon PPV card. Credit: 1wrestling.com
Guest notJames Posted December 13, 2002 Report Posted December 13, 2002 James, why don't you just tape the animated goodness with commercials and go riff on Albert? That's what I'm doing. Because I'm a video purist. I want the animated goodness sans the advertisement badness. I'm wacky like that. And the name's notJames. James is the guy I'm not.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted December 13, 2002 Report Posted December 13, 2002 A Christopher Nowinski vs. Maven match has apparently been added to the WWE Armageddon PPV card. Credit: 1wrestling.com Christ, that's not even a good RAW match, let alone PPV worthy.
Guest notJames Posted December 13, 2002 Report Posted December 13, 2002 It'll probably be busted down to Heat, like the Regal/Storm tag match last month.
Guest DJ Jeff Posted December 14, 2002 Report Posted December 14, 2002 I say just stay home and watch the Simpsons. Simpsons > Armageddon.
Guest AndrewTS Posted December 14, 2002 Report Posted December 14, 2002 notJames: Pay someone to record the animated goodness for you sans commercials? Hell, I'd offer to do it if I was reliable. *I*
