Guest The Superstar Report post Posted December 15, 2002 Well, I had front row seats (turnbuckle) at Teco Arena tonight for a RAW show, and as a fan, the show RULED. I get there at like 3:45 and wait for wrestlers to arrive. I just miss Bubba and Spike, but get autographs from RAVEN~! and RICO~! Both really nice guys. Arena was almost empty...2000 at the MOST. Fink comes out promptly at 5:00 and we're off. In the first match, Rosey and RICO~! beat D'Lo and Spike after D'Lo 'turned' on Spike, allowing Rosey to splash Spike for the pin. Match was about 7 minutes and fun. Three "Rico Sucks" chants. Sean O'Haire beat Tommy Dreamer in 6 minutes in a pretty boring match. O'Haire dominated the entire time. Cruel Intentions (Mountain Bomb) finished it. Next, Raven beat Johnny Stamboli in 5 minutes. Raven was actually the face in this match, with a couple "Raven" chants. Evenflow finished. So-so match...3 restholds by Stamboli, though. Goldust~! vs. Christian~! was next. HUGE heat for Christian, gigantic pop for Goldust. Great match, about 10 minutes, Goldust won by reversing the Unprettier into the Curtain Call. Next, the MAIN EVENT! RVD~! and Kane vs. Batista and HHH w/ Ric Flair. Flair got his own entrance and a huge pop. HHH got a big pop as well, and he came to our turnbuckle to pose. I have to admit, I was marking out Kane and RVD got the pops of the night though. pretty good match, but the FIRST TEN MINUTES were stalling and tests of strength. However, I did get to touch Batista and Kane (oh yay!) Besides that it was good. and OMG, HHH JOBS~!!!!!!!!! Cleanly after a Chokeslam and ***** Frog Splash! RVD then showed his classiness by going around the whole arena giving high fives. Intermission....... Pervert Lawler came out to guest referee the Women's Title match, Victoria vs. Jackie vs. Trish. and OMG, Molly was accompanying Victoria. MOLLY IS SO HOT IN PERSON. This match was VERY short, 2 minutes. Victoria pinned Trish with the Widow's Peak after Molly got her pants pulled down. Then my hero, CHRISTOPHER NOWINSKI~! came out and read us some Shakespeare before beating Maven in about 6 minutes with a spinebuster thing. I got to touch Nowinski too! wh00! Test vs. The Greatest Wrestler Ever, Chris Jericho was next. Jericho is SUCH an awesome heel. I got to see the ARROGANT COVER~! live! I also got to see Xian and Jericho perform some Hot Gay Action as they hugged, and Christian was grabbing Jericho's ass. Ha. Test also did Road Dogg's "Doggy Style" thing to Jericho before doing a Pumphandle Slam. Jericho won in like 10 minutes with the Flashback (Drop Sleeper) and his feet on the ropes. Real Main Event Time, Baybee~! DUDleys took on JR's favorite tag team in a Tables Match. Great match, about 15 minutes. Dudleys of course, won after 3d'ing Lance through the table. But the best thing was during the match. Since the heels corner was right where I was sitting, as Lance was on the outside I yelled "STORM 1:08~!" and he looked at me in a "how does he know about that?" look and pointed at me! I totally marked out. So that was the show. Then I went BACK outside to see the wrestlers leaving. I ended up getting Tommy Dreamer and Spike's autographs. I told Tommy to "Give me a Spicolli Driver" and he replied "Ah, I'm too beat up" As Storm and Christian, were leaving, I once again said "Storm 1:08" "I VISIT YOUR WEBSITE EVERYDAY" and he pointed at me again~! Sorry for the long winded post, but AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME show. The quality may not have been the best, but I had the GREATEST time! wh00 my faith in wrestling has been restored, if just for a small time.

Guest TheArchiteck Report post Posted December 15, 2002 Sounds like a fun event. I remember at Nitro event, when the wrestlers was leaving. I yelled to Lance Storm (getting in a geo tracker).."Where's the 3 belts?"...He said, "In the back (or bag)". That was first time I had a conversation with a wrestler. Goldberg was really the only one who didn't wave at the crowd. He just jumped in the back of a car with 3 other big ass guys. Kevin Nash waved and stuff. It sucked though cause Rey and Booker wasn't there. Man it seem like house shows have the better matches.

Conspiracy_Victim 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2002 STORM 1:08 Umm...I don't get it. Inform me.. If I recall correctly, it refers to the time it took Storm to job to someone (Edge, wasn't it?). Posters on the website make reference to it as Storm 1:08. If I'm totally off base let me know.

I'm fairly sure Storm himself talked and joked about it in his commentaries too.
