I won't be ordering it, but I will give my predictions, since I didn't see a regular predictions thread.

 

WWE Championship: Big Show vs. Kurt Angle

Everything seems to point to Angle winning the title, and with the Lesnar face turn, I expect that to happen, with Angle remaining a heel, and Benoit going face instead. Brock/Angle is still the only big match that the WWF has at this point, but I can longer see Angle going over in the feud. Either Brock successfully defends the title against Angle at Mania, or wins it from Angle. The latter scenario is more in line with previous Manias.

WINNER AND NEW WWE Champion: Kurt Angle

 

World Championship: Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H

One of the few times I will be cheering for HHH. He may not be any good anymore, but he is at least a real wrestler. Michaels is the worst World Champion since David Arquette in WCW. God willing, HHH destroys HBK for good.

WINNER AND NEW WORLD Champion: Triple H

 

Eddy Guerrero vs. Chris Benoit

Benoit will be Angle's next big feud, whether the actual match occurs at Royal Rumble (if Angle beats Show) or No Way Out (if he doesn't). Since Eddy is in the tag division, Benoit should win this match.

WINNER: Chris Benoit

 

World Tag Team Championship: Jericho & Christian vs. Black Gold vs. Dudleys vs. Commonwealth Connection

It makes sense to put over Booker & Goldust, but it has before and they never won then either. Another case of the WWE refusing to go with the times, and they will attempt to relive the glory days of 2000 when the Dudleys win the titles.

ORDER OF ELIMINATION: Storm & Regal, Booker & Goldust, Christian & Jericho

WINNERS AND NEW WORLD TAG CHAMPS: The Dudley Boyz

 

Albert vs. Edge

Hard to say. This match seems to be causing a big political struggle backstage, so Vince will probably wimp out again and have Edge win, but Albert get his heat back afterwards, thus making both guys look bad.

WINNER: Edge

 

WWE Woman's Championship: Victoria vs. Trish vs. Jackie

With all the title changes elsewhere, the title stays on Victoria.

WINNER AND STILL WOMAN'S CHAMP: Victoria

 

Kane vs. Batista

Kane was destroyed by HHH, but this is still a situation like Albert/Edge, minus the backstage problem. Batista will win, but it will be in such a way that everyone looks bad.

Maven vs. Chris Nowinski

WWE seems determined to turn Maven into a star in order to boost Tough Enough. Maven won TE, Nowinski didn't, so they have to justify it, by having Maven win here.

I think that Vitamin C will retain and that Maven is a lost cause, it does not matter if you win Tough Enough, if you have a good year on the indy circuit then you will get a WWE contract.......

 

TE winners = Heisman Winners = failures in the pros. There are always exceptions to the rule as I see Nidia as a Charles Woodson type of worker she goes both ways

This seems like a good match on paper. Two out of three falls. First fall Street Match, second fall Cage Match, and the third fall is a ladder match. Of course, we all know it will be going to the third fall. I have the feeling that HHH will win. Even though it was good seeing HBK have the title, HHH seems like the better choice, even though I hate seeing HHH the champ.

Jericho and Christian are boring Tag champs. I really wanted them to lose that night, but then Morely reverses the call. I really want to see BookDust come out the winners. They have been fighting for a couple weeks for the damn title, and it is about time for them to win. I see BookDust going into a feud with the Dudleys.

HHH/HBK will be alright if done the right away. I don't see HBK walking out champ.

 

Then again after thinking about it.....I need to mark out big, so here's to Angle winning the damn thing.

The only match I'm really interested in is HHH vs. HBK. With that being said, I'm hoping that HBK walks out of Armageddon still the World Champion, and dropping it to RVD the next night on RAW. If HHH doesn't like it, tough. The WWE doesn't revolve around HHH, and he's going to have to learn that sometime. Oh, and I'm thinking that Angle will win the WWE Title tonight, and defend it against Benoit at the Royal Rumble.

As bad as his workrate is (of course), I think Show's been playing his new heel role rather well. He's showing fear against Brock/Angle and worries about losing, while acting all smug while they aren't around. Crowd hates him, X-Pac heat or normal heat I'm not sure. Paul makes a good mouthpiece, and he seems to be putting more effort into his matches since he has motivation now.

 

If he could drop all the excess flab, and presumably work better, I'd have no problem with him as champion.

 

Albert is another matter entirely, but everyone knows my opinion on that by now.

-Show. I think WWE are trying to swerve us into expecting Angle to win. If it means Angle will go into WM the challenger, then good, instead of Brock going in the challenger.

I just had an idea.

 

What if Big Show wins because of Brock's backfired interference, Angle gets in an argument with Brock after the match, Lesnar just MURDERS Angle after the match (excuse for Angle to leave for surgery), Brock turns back to being a heel, then destroys Big Show on Smackdown and wins the title. Angle comes back as a surprise entrant at the Rumble, wins it, goes to Mania against Brock.

 

I just want to see Angle as a face as opposed to a heel at Mania.
