Guest Downhome Report post Posted December 16, 2002 I just want to say that so far, this webcast has me impressed as hell. I may just start watching all of the "smaller" PPV's on here, and just ordering the major ones. I am seeing PERFECT picture quality, and PERFECT sound. Then to top it off, I can have it on the forefront of my screen, so I can do stuff like posting here, chatting, etc... while watching it. This would make a great advert for wwe webcasts. Your not working for them right? Nooooooooo, I really am impressed, really. Now if I like the PPV, I can just buy the DVD when it comes out, instead of having it on sorry VHS tape as I would have when I tape them. I'm please, call me crazy, lol. Who does the commentating on this thing?
Guest jester Report post Posted December 16, 2002 Here's my predictions. I'm assuming maintaining the status quo, or the worst possible outcomes are exactly what they will do. 1) WWE Championship: Big Show vs. Kurt Angle Show or DQ 2) World Championship: Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H HHH takes first match. HBK takes second. HHH takes third match. Or, HHH wins 2 straight, and then challenges HBK to do the 3rd match. HHH wins that one too. 3) Eddy Guerrero vs. Chris Benoit Wild stab---Eddie 4) World Tag Team Championship: Jericho & Christian vs. Black Gold vs. Dudleys vs. Commonwealth Connection Dudleys 5) Albert vs. Edge A-Pathetic 6) WWE Woman's Championship: Victoria vs. Trish vs. Jackie Jackie 7) Kane vs. Batista Batista 8) Maven vs. Chris Nowinski Hardest one to pick. Eh, Maven.
Guest Ram Report post Posted December 16, 2002 Does anybody know what music they use for their video packages? Eagan?
Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted December 16, 2002 That sounds like a pretty good idea atcually, except that I don't care to spend my money on this mediocre PPV. 35 bucks is just way too much for a PPV, especially if you're ordering it alone. I'll have someone making me a tape anyway, but I'll hang around and see if anyone posts the feed anyway. 17 dollars, especially if the feed is really good would be a good buy for a good PPV (maybe Royal Rumble or Wrestlemania I'll try it), and thats a good point about buying the DVD over having a tape. WWE PPVs shouldn't be more than 20 bucks anyway. I only ordered one or 2 at 30 bucks, but now that theyre 35 it seems like that much more. O well, Im rambling I guess! Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted December 16, 2002 Just for the record my predictions: -Angle -1st fall: HHH -2nd fall: HBK -3rd Fall: HHH -Benoit -BookDust (Dudleys, UnAmericans, Canadians) -Victoria (over Jackie) -Maven -Batista -Edge (Albert attacks afterwards) -Dawn shows the video and laugh, Torrie cries while Al looks confused. Guest Ram Report post Posted December 16, 2002 On a side note, am I the only one that may not care anything for an angle, but when I see one of those WWE video packages, it seems to get me REALLY hyped up, and excited as hell. Do these things do this to you as well? Not including the Show/Angle stuff (I'm already hyped for that), pretty much yeah. The Elimination Chamber package was awesome. Guest bravesfan Report post Posted December 16, 2002 He's done the Olympic Slam to TBS several times already. I did mark out the first time it was done (earlier this year, I believe. It was a big clusterfuck of finishers at the end of a Smackdown....)
