Show was at his best teaming with Spike Dudley (at least in the WWF).

I agree with you- Show worked best as a mid-card comedy act, not as a top heel. Show can't hang with the current top workers, and his lack of stamina makes him the perfect face tag wrestler- stand on the apron while the smaller partner gets his ass kicked, get the hot tag, clean house, repeat.

Show actually put on some decent performances teaming with Tajiri as well. I guess teaming him with a little guy, letting him get bursts of offense, and then letting him sit out a little bit and wait for a hot tag again seems to be a good way to eke out the best from him.
