Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 At least the Bills won. You say that like it's a good thing.
Guest Anglesault Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 So...does Big Show retain which is always bad... or does Angle win to get another short, meaningless title reign that in the end makes him look like a loser when he drops it to the guy who had to be cheated out of it? And WHY ARE THESE MY ONLY OPTIONS???? ... Oh, I get it. RVD is at WWF New York. HHH and Shawn are main eventing the PPV. Batista has a match. RVD is more over than all of them. Fuck you, Vince. Yes, that was just bps and me playing each other!
Guest Downhome Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 I hope so Downhome. That's the lesser of two evils now. Have faith, things could end up even better if TBS wins... ...you know, Angle can then add the RR win to his belt. :D
Guest Kamui Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 No You Suck chant? About damn time! Edit: Plus, a "Let's Go Angle!" chant! Yay, the fans finally realized that Angle's a face! Now, as long as Angle wins this, I'll be happy for the night. Oh, and whoever gave Benoit/Eddy ***1/2-**** was on crack. That was ****1/2 AT LEAST. -Duo
Guest AndrewTS Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 *1/2-** Kane/Batista How the fuck did they pull that off? They didn't! Ah, I see. How long did ol' Glen hold out?
Guest Repo Man jr Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 Big "Lets go Angle" chant!
Guest Downhome Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 Kurt has never had a bad match in my opinion, not really that I can remember anyhow... ...so, can he make TBS look good at least?
Guest Downhome Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 I love Kurt as a face, LOVE IT!!!!!!!! So far, I'm highly pleased with this match. Both guys are playing their roles perfectly.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 Kurt has had bad matches, but not often since he came into his own around September 2000. He had a bad match with HHH at No Way Out this year, and his Wrestlemania match with Kane wasn't very good either.
Guest midnight_burn Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 Sloth is dominating, and no sight of Lesnar thus far.
Guest Anglesault Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 Angle vs. Fat Show? My Prediction: Angle gets his ass kicked all match by Show, gets thrown out of the ring, killed by Albert, thrown over to heyman who makes him tap to the ankle lock. Brock runs in, kills everyone and puts Angle on top of Show. Angle wins, brock kills him just to prove that Angle sucks.
Guest Repo Man jr Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 Big Show takes over and now you could hear a pin drop.
Guest Kamui Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 If nothing at all, this Big Show push gets Heyman over as THE Manager (Oh, wait, I'm sorry, "Agent" in the WWE), since the WWE announcers aren't even pretending that Big Show has done this on his own- it's all "Heyman has got him focused". At least they're pushing Show as Champion all because of Heyman, and not trying to push him as a serious Champion on his own. -Duo
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 If Angle wins, hopefully he ends up like Rock 1999, and not Jericho 2002.
Guest Downhome Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 Kurt has had bad matches, but not often since he came into his own around September 2000. He had a bad match with HHH at No Way Out this year, and his Wrestlemania match with Kane wasn't very good either. Perhaps I seem to have overlooked them, cut him some slack, seeing how almost every other time he's in the match of the night, or at least close to being just that. He's the #1 most consistant Pro. Wrestler right now in the industry if you ask me, and when you think about it, WWE REALLY hit the jackpot with this guy, he can do basicly anything, play any role, and he does so convinceingly.

Yes, that was just bps and me playing each other! Heheheh...damn, now who can I be? Although I wish that maybe HHH will steal HBK's soul, roll it up, and deposit it in a garbage bin, RVD smokes it up by accident, and gets his workrate.
Guest midnight_burn Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 Show brings back the Final Cut, Kurt kicks out.
Guest Anglesault Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 Both guys are playing their roles perfectly. Angle: pussy loser? Show: Lazy fat ass?
Guest Downhome Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 I believe the crowed just passed away. Come on Kurt, resurrect them!
Guest Downhome Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 Oh yes, when the crowd is dead, break out the Bear Hug, that ALWAYS wakes them up.
Guest Kamui Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 Kurt has had bad matches, but not often since he came into his own around September 2000. He had a bad match with HHH at No Way Out this year, and his Wrestlemania match with Kane wasn't very good either. HHH was practically crippled at that point, so I don't blame Angle there- and I thought Angle-Kane was pretty good for what it was, and defiantley good for a freaking Kane match. -Duo
Guest midnight_burn Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 Both guys are playing their roles perfectly. Angle: pussy loser? Show: Lazy fat ass? Pretty much.
Guest Eagan469 Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 At least the Bills won. You say that like it's a good thing. Bills =
Guest Kamui Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 Angle kicked out of the Final Cut, which is alright I guess. Think you're bitching too much, Anglesault- any match between Show and someone smaller than him has to be Show dominating, because there's really no way else to do it. As long as Angle wins, I'll be happy. -Duo
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 Show was at his best teaming with Spike Dudley (at least in the WWF).
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 Is this one of those matches where Angle has to pretend to be winded so that people won't notice Show is blown up and they'll just think the match is "Hard hitting"?

Angle's had good matches with damn near everyone...but pulls out a stinker with HHH... Rock and HHH both face Hogan. One turns out pretty cool, the other blows goat balls. HHH and HBK both face RVD, one match could have been around *** if given enough time, the other sucked ass, although it had to be gimmicky too and make HHH look to be battling overwhelming odds. I sense a trend...
Guest Downhome Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 Crowd is coming alive, it's time for Kurt now.
Guest midnight_burn Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 Angle brings out a Missile Dropkick, Show kicks out.
Guest Kamui Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 Show was at his best teaming with Spike Dudley (at least in the WWF). I agree with you- Show worked best as a mid-card comedy act, not as a top heel. Show can't hang with the current top workers, and his lack of stamina makes him the perfect face tag wrestler- stand on the apron while the smaller partner gets his ass kicked, get the hot tag, clean house, repeat. -Duo
