Match starts off with some basic stuff, and really evolves into a story revolving around the nose/rib thing, and how Danny just doesn't give a shit that Annie is a chick, he's going to kick her ass anyway. Love the build-up, and how the match just keeps building [(Y) @ no starting over spots or anything like that] until the final Deathbomb. Near-falls were believable, and I really liked the Diving-Elbow/Chair-Shot spot. The constant references to their previous encounters, as well as Danny/Renegade and even Danny/Sydney at times [Annie NOT getting the bulldog after the failed backdrop driver, the german suplex reversal, Annie holding down the female sex with his vicous elbows, ect.] was genius and well-done. Overall, just a really good match, with not too many flaws, aside from the aggrivating grammar, and the kendo stick spots seeming... I dunno, just sort of awkward, somehow... Either way, MOTN, I'd say. That or 2nd place to the Main Event.

Thanks you very much for the feed back. And I don't mean to come off like start over spots all suck, but they are very trickey to pull off just right. It requires good timing, and a strong back story that the two know each other. Like 6/3/94 only used two start over spots in the whole damn match(the very begining and the very end before the final show down), both were very powerful and effectively used. But than again you have RVD/Lynn Hardcore Heaven where the they start over like 300 times(thoughout the entire match), not to show how well they know each other but because both guys were out of shape, sloppy, and fucking clueless on how to build a match.

 

Back on topic, I agree with everything you said. As much as I didn't want too, I had to use the Kendo Stick because it's Annie's weapon of choice and in a No DQ match she would have to use it. I had to just reference it, and get it out of the way as soon possible. Notice how it rolls out of the ring, and than just disappears. And to be honest I have no clue how to write Kendo Stick spots, just not my thing.

Well, sucks partly that I didn't get to take part in the PPV but after a couple weeks of resting the brain cells, I'm looking forward to writing again.

 

PS: It's a stick, mat-boy. You just hit people with it.

Danny, I want to thank you for the feud and hope that we end up working together again someday. You've taught me two things in the two times we've worked together.

 

1) When we tagged you introduced me to this term called "Psychology" I'm still trying to get the hang of it but I've gotten a lot better from where I had been before that.

 

2) I still need to get A LOT better if I want to move up in the fed. I thought I was writing well but I wasn't, and I can do better.

 

 

To help in this I'm going to do something I haven't done in nearly a year. Read and analyze an entire show. Hopefully I can see what I've been doing wrong and what some of y'all are doing right. My comments will probably suck compared to Danno, who is in all actuality getting scary good now, but it'll be more feedback to you all.

Nah, no need to read the entire show. Things have gone down hill ever since that TNT guy left...

 

...actually, in reality, a show that you *SHOULD* read all the way through is Genesis 3. That was like, the most perfect-est PPV EVAR... aside from Thoth/Silent, grrrr...

 

Oh, and you're still a good writer, I think the whole Lady Red/no-showing period just threw you back though, and you're still recovering from it... heh.
