Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted January 8, 2003 "Smarks just pull the 'X-Pac heat' card whenever a heel they personally don't like is getting heat. I never want to see that stupid phrase again." Oh believe me it's real. Like I said when EVERYONE you talk to on the subject hates the wrestler, smarks and marks alike, and wishes they didn't even have to watch him wrestle, then it is real X-Pac heat. And X-Pac was notorious for this.
Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted January 9, 2003 Douglas is who I'd choose. For the most part, Triple H always played the "this crowd is stupid" characteratures which would get boring, add to the fact that now-a-days he is a heel that doesn't even act like a heel. Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted January 9, 2003 But Franchise relied too heavily upon cheap heat like cussing every other word in his promos and such. HHH relies too heavily on the storylines that are written for him and not enough heel work in the ring. They are both substandard heels as far as in ring work and promos. Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted January 9, 2003 Shane Douglas's promo with Gary Wolfe was SUPER-hot and if you compare that to anything Triple H has done as a heel, (to scale of course) then I'd say Douglas was more a HATED heel, rather than a "I hate this city" heel. I don't think Shane Douglas is a rings craftsmen by any means, however I think he is hands down better than HHH.(or at least was back in ECW and WCW) As far as cussing goes, well that was something that ECW was alloted at the time due to it's limited exposure. Take out the "f" words and replace them with "damn" and I'd still take his mic work over Triple H's.
