Guest ShooterJay Report post Posted December 30, 2002 I've got some problems with this card. 1. First off, Paul London has one of the hottest matches of his career, proves he can be a main event player, and they stick him in the undercard with BJ FUCKIN' WHITMER?! C'mon Gabe, book a little smarter, London should be going over Donovan Morgan or Daniels at this show, not curtain jerking. -And on a side note, I've said this before, what's with jobber names becoming en vogue now- BJ Whitmer, Chad Collyer? Come on, the real name isn't always the best option. 2. Konnan's back after stinking up Murphy Rec and pissing off the entire fanbase- RF should adopt a per-night philosophy until these guys prove themselves. 3. No title match of any kind- now that ROH has 2 titles, at least 1 should be defended on every show, that's just inexcusable. That said, the show does look pretty good- Dragon/Joe should rule, I've heard good things about Matt Stryker, and none of the announced matches look outright crappy from a pure workrate perspective. And one more prediction: Paul London=breakout indy star of 2003.
EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2003 fuck indy star...London will be signed by WWE by mid-year... And Konnan stinks up the gymnasium...yet he comes back for another one? I suspect they want him to go back to his lucha roots...
Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted January 3, 2003 Isn't BJ Whitmer supposed to be damn good? He won IWA-MS' TPI, going over Punk in the final and winning the IWA belt. I can understand the frustration of London curtain jerking, but what's with the Whitmer hatred?
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted January 3, 2003 Looks like a pretty damn good card to me. That 4 way no holds barred match looks amazing and with the talent involved should be an easy ****
Guest converge241 Report post Posted January 3, 2003 another hit squad- carnage crew brawl? *sigh* The Ki/Styles vs Daniels and AC Slater looks sweet

Guest RedJed Report post Posted January 6, 2003 All I can figure with Konnan is that maybe he gives REALLY good head or something........Feinstein must have a thing for him. Bringing him back after the reaction in Philly is baffling, especially considering this is ROH we're talking about. So thats the only logical reason I can figure!
