Yet Jabuki is the most hated poster on the board it seems. I guess it's because Jabuki isn't some lesbian conservative who worked for the goverment claiming she would "Kick God's ass" yet using bible quotes and religious rhetoric to further her oft times langushing arguments. Or perhaps it's okay to get flamed to hell and back by a guy named Jabuki, but not a gal like Marney.

Usually pent up aggression in the form of belittling others on the internet is a sign of: a. fact they get pushed around in everyday life thus need to vent in other capacities b. they do not get pussy, thus they binge in the products of their snobbishness c. they are like comic book guy from Simpsons. They don't satarize people like that for no reason. There is an iota of truth in it. Well, more than an iota. Guest godthedog Posted January 2, 2003 Report Posted January 2, 2003 marney's arguments were generally pretty good, but she was unnecessarily condescending 99% of the time. she couldn't just present her points, she had to talk down to whomever her opponent was as if he was 12. it's a stupid rhetorical trick, and i never understood the need to use it in intelligent discussion. also, this was through no fault of her own, but how did she get so many minions? i swear to god, after almost every single post she ever made there was at least one person following her with "great arguments, as always" or "i love it!" or "baa" or some other slobbering on her big bokken of rhetoric. that said, she was still very entertaining.

Marney's insane patriotism was very off putting sometimes it was funny, but more often than not it was just cruel. she would take 2 or 3 comments someone made and spend 6 paragraphs ripping them apart for no reason other than they didn't happen to agree with her. she made everything extremely personal. I think Marney had focused on more on her point she was making and not "random insult" she'd be less hated. without a doubt, cause she's a very intelligent person and a great debator. and for having been one of her minions, bob is now declared my least favorite poster.
