It's definitely different than any one they've done recently...so, straightforward, I guess.

I know of a couple of extras:

- the construction of the Elimination Chamber

- backstage at MSG with Eric Bischoff.

*yawn*

I'll probably get it anyway though. Just because I promised myself I'd get all the PPVs with Shawn's recent matches on them.

Wait, are we judging this by the cover of the thing?

haha, exactly. It doesn't change the fact that the event wasn't any good. I'll pass. I want to pick up the No Mercy DVD for the Hell in the cell and the tag team match...

Yup, and he was on the back cover of Invasion too (the front cover was promo art and promo art alone)

It's too bad Booker's "Who?" catchphrase never got off the ground. He could've had a video named after it.

Vince: Booker, tonight you're facing Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Booker: Who?

Vince: Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Booker: Who?

Bossman: He said, Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Booker: No man, that's my new catchphrase. Who?

lol, I was at that Smackdown it was a special live show from DC. My friend and I still use "Who" as a running joke. Actually though it was "tonight you're facing The Rock!" "Who?" "The Rock" "No, that's my new catchphrase, we'll put it on a T-shirt and it will sell like hotcakes!" The main event was Rock vs. Booker T for #1 contender shot at Jericho at Royal Rumble. Booker didn't win needless to say...

Oh, so you got to see Bossman attack Austin with that STEEL MICROPHONE so viciously that Austin bladed, which caused Michael Cole to say he had "steel shards of the microphone lodged in his head"?

Wait, maybe I made that last part up.

Black & off-yellow-white can do ugly things. Kane and Shawn look like they have mishaped heads in that shot.

Actually the weirdest thing from that show was since we couldn't hear commentarry they showed the desk and King was missing while Cole was talking, all of a sudden King's head pops up from under the desk while Cole is smiling. My friend and I had no fucking idea what had happened, it looked like King was giving Cole head. When we watched the tape they were doing some Buffy promo and King was "hiding". uh huh...

If they're anything like the ones on the other DVDs, they last 2 minutes, maybe.

Backstage with Bisch.. damn I guess the rumors are true, Bisch is getting more power by the day.

The torch website says McMahon is thinking about giving Bisch total control of raw because he is out of ideas. It took bischoff what, 6 months to begin to get power again.

Maybe Eric got McMahon's coffee and mowed his lawn like he did for Gagne.

Yeah that rumor was really something, I'm surprised it hasnt leaked out to the net yet. When it said Vince would give Bischoff the power to fire and hire wrestlers that's pretty amazing. I can't imagine Vince basically giving over control of his company to his long time rival and enemy.

On the subject of the DVD, the cover looks really good. I also think the music video by Saliva and the poster gallery seem interesting.

I dont think it will be toppling No Mercy from #1 on my wish list though.

You know what they should've done?

Put an example of all 3 matches that inspired the E-Chamber.

A Wargames, a Hell in a Cell, and a Survivor Series match.

Perhaps the '92 Wrestlewar Wargames, the rarely seen Kane/Foley HIAC on Raw, and my personal favorite Survivor Series match, the Tag Team Elimination Match from SS '98.

the Tag Team Elimination Match from SS '98.

There wasn't a Tag Team Elimination match at Survivor Series '98,because the tournament was going on.
