Guest Anglesault Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 So, with the big Raw coming up, what would you like the Number one moment to be, and what will it be. You should also consider that in all honesty, it will probably be something recent. What I think it should be: One of my favorite non match segments ever, Hero/Jackass. What it will be: The Game returns form a life threatening injury and 4 years or rehabilitation to be greeted by a gazillion screaming fans, BAH GAWD
Guest the pinjockey Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 What I want: Jericho debut or Foley title win What will happen: Owen tribute (after the best of show I think this will get a late surge), HHH returns, or Vince's Raw/Nitro simulcast
Guest TheGame2705 Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Austin Appreciation Night or JR "kiss my ass" and the McMahon cowboy dance are two of my faves. Might actually go with them.
EL DANDY~! Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 My favorite RAW moment was just a personal markout moment: Jericho winning the title. I was SO yelling and screaming...when I new HHH was talking to the official, though, FUCK!
Guest EternallyLazy Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Flair's return... the last time I truly marked out about anything
Guest candie45 Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Oh so last week's Owen tribute part wasn't the winner? I chose Jericho winning the title... "it never happened" or whatever they called it.
Guest chirs3 Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 I'll be happy with either Jericho's debut, Jericho's phantom title win, or Foley's title win. Any of those three work for me.
Guest Scuba Steve Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 You guys are crazy if you think it will be Jericho anything as the #1 greatest RAW moment. It will probably involve Austin, McMahon, or Triple H.
Guest EternallyLazy Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 You guys are crazy if you think it will be Jericho anything as the #1 greatest RAW moment. It will probably involve Austin, McMahon, or Triple H. nor should it be Jericho's debut. I like Jericho but to say that his debut was the greatest moment on RAW in 10 years is absurd.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Austin: "Gimmie the hat back." Angle: "It's mine, you gave it to me." Austin: "Gimmie the hat." Angle: "You're an indian giver." Austin: "You're a jackass." Angle: "Indian giver." Austin: "Jackass" Angle: "Indian giver." Vince: "Cut it out!" Austin: "...jackass" Or something like that...God I wish I had all of the Austin/Angle/Vince stuff on tape. *Austin getting advice from Tajiri* Tajiri: *speaking Japanese* Austin: "Uh huh." Tajiri: *more Japanese* Austin:: "...you're a very wise man, Tajiri." I almost pissed my pants at that. *then later to Vince* Austin: "You know what! Tajiri was right!"
Guest Youth N Asia Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Hell, I forgot to mention Jarrett blasting Moolah over the head with a guitar
ChrisMWaters Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Here's a Raw moment for you.... WILLIAM SHATNER'S WWF DEBUT!

But I'm sure you already knew that, eh?
Guest Zero_Cool Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 I voted for Y2J's debut and I think it may haver a shot against everything else...if the others who voted were around in 98-99, it could be up there. I think that the debut was a great moment because of a couple things. One being that instead of a bait and switch, they ended the angle with a bang, bringing in one of the most over heels in the wrestling industry. Two, lets not forget about the guy in the ring at the point in time when the millenium clock hit zero. Y2J and Rock went on to have a verbal confrontation that perhaps forshadowed the work that the two would do later on.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Vince: "Now dammit, kiss my ass." Sorry, I know the ass kiss thing with Jim Ross was bad...but Vince galloping around the ring with his pants down by his ankles and bucking JR's hat...that was just funny. Sorry, that just came to mind

Guest the pinjockey Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 I don't know why Jericho's debut would be that absurd of a win. I saw that before getting online so I had no clue it was coming or anything like that didn't know he was an internet darling and that was the biggest mark out moment I ever had. So it wasn't just a smark moment.

You see, there's your world, and there's the real world. In your world, Brock isn't over, HHH isn't over, Rhyno's a demi-god, Angle IS God. And in the real world, I get laid. Good night.
Guest CanadianChick Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Actually, IIRC, they started "What-ing" him as soon as he opened his mouth. I don't think they "what"ed him on his first night back. BTW, what does "IIRC" mean?
Guest Steviekick Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 My moments... 1...Jericho winning the title from HHH for 13.4 seconds 2...Flair's debut 3...The one good night of the invasion: The ECW Reunion
Guest Anglesault Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 But you don't remember correctly. You see, there's your world, and there's the real world. In your world, Brock isn't over WHEN THE FUCK DID I SAY BROCK ISN'T OVER? I said at the start of this God push, He was not over. Not opinion, not "my world" FACT. Up until the NIGHT HE WON THE BELT he couldn't get ANY HEAT despite killing the most over face in the company every week for two months. Watch the shows. HHH isn't over I don't actually recall saying anything about HHH's overness in a LONG time. i don;t really watch his segments anymore.
Guest Anglesault Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Rhyno's a demi-god, WHAT? Because I don't agree with you that he "sucks because he has a 'gay' R on his back"
Guest Insane Bump Machine Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 RAW is OWEN should win, it was certainly the most emotional RAW ever. They should have added the Bret Hart/Austin ambulance incident to the choices.
ChrisMWaters Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 RAW is OWEN should win, it was certainly the most emotional RAW ever. They should have added the Bret Hart/Austin ambulance incident to the choices. Well, it seems that there are very few Raw moments from the time they changed it from "Monday Night Raw" to "Raw is War"
Guest Insane Bump Machine Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Well, it seems that there are very few Raw moments from the time they changed it from "Monday Night Raw" to "Raw is War" I know, ignoring their own history is sadly common practice in today's WWE. Except when they need to build up another has-been for a 2-month push.

Except when they need to build up another has-been for a 2-month push. Hehe...right. Though in all honesty, it took a LONG time before they started having more memorable moments in Raw history before the change. One I remember was when Justin Credible, as Aldo Montoya, told off Ted DiBiase. "You can take that money, and shove it in your ear!"
Guest Mole Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 I hope it is Foley winning the title from the Rock gets it. I still get goosebump from watching that.

It's also a moment that includes both The Rock and Steve Austin, who are both supposed to be back soon. If WWE would choose the moment themselves, Foley's title win would certainly be one of the top choices.
