How? Each one of their contracts are long-term contracts, 2 of those being the longest in the company. I believe Henrys' ranges from 1997-2007, while Big Show goes from 1999-2009. To buy-out their contracts now is absolutely ludicrous.

 

Humiliating them into wrestler walkouts won't work either. WWE tried to humiliate Henry in EVERY WAY POSSIBLE, and he's never budged. He's either got the biggest heart in the WWE, or he's a greedy scumbag who doesn't care about how he's treated. Pick and choose.

 

Though they should try this strategy with Wight.

Personally, I'd also fire Orton if he's still shitty when he comes back. I don't care how many smarks dig his heel character, he was utterly horrible when he was wrestling. How does one screw up two finishes in a row? And why did he REPEAT THE SPOT on the second one? How does one injure their shoulder fucking up that shitty Overdrive move?

Just pay off the eighty percent of what's left or whatever percentage it costs to buy them out, and write off the losses as long-term investments (since both guys would have no compete clauses, a good accountant could justify it).

Hardly. Vince has no real competition now. Maybe NWA-TNA, but I doubt they'd take Henry. Maybe, MAYBE Big Show. I wouldn't cut Show right now because they seem to actually be using him rather well. However, that won't last, and I'd cut him sooner rather than later.

 

However, it doesn't seem like it would be a big coup if a fledgling company signed either of them.

If you all are going to use WWE history and Ross Reports as references, let's use it the *right* way.

 

Firstly, Big show is pretty much in the best ring shape of his life. It ain't getting any better. To think so make you an idiot. And constantly whining about it, it makes you a whiner. Also, marks still respond to this guy and always have. Aside from a few house show reports, Show has always drawn a reaction whether face or heel so I don't want to hear, "He ain't over." as an excuse becuase I can throw a few examples out there of my own. Also, of note, many of these so called marks I talked to think Big Show is just really big, not fat. They say Rikishi is fat, Big Show is just HUGE. Of course you all shall no sell that anyway, but it was worth pointing out.

 

Secondly, Henry had lost TONS of weight in OVW and his wrestling had improved threefold. Of course, Vince McMahon saw a money making and publicity oppurtunity in having Henry enter the Strong Man contest. Henry was ordered to put on weight so he could win, which he did, but that was a whole year down the tube. And the only thing that came out of that Strongman win besides bragging rights was a shitty angle involving Test and Farooq.

 

As far as your numerous pushes go, Big Show, maybe, a big maybe. Henry's biggest push was win he came into the WWF and the push last year, which was just a "Bill DeMott Token Push." Show was pushed continuously for a year after he arrived in the WWF, then after that he was pushed once more in 2000 before being carted off to OVW. After that was the NWO push and now his current push as lackey for Kurt Angle. So, let's see 2 pushes for Henry and four for Show. If you call that numerous then I guess 2 to 4 dollars is filthy rich for you guys.

 

As for the attempts to get them into ring shape, one for Henry and two for Show. Not alot.
