Why do I have a bad feeling that Bischoff will try to enter himself into the Royal Rumble match?

Because you're thinking of "WCW in the year 2000 logic" or "Russo logic."

It's very different from WWE logic, and is defined as "Smoke lots of crack, and scribble down whatever comes to mind." If he wins, I'm sure of it.

See: 1999 Royal Rumble.

yeah I can't see Arquette being in there either!

Unfortunatley 3MW probably will be ;)

At least Arquette was in a **** match (that cage match).

3 Minute Warning could be too, if they tag up with one of the good tag teams on Raw, and stand on the apron the whole match.

...scary thought.

"MAH GAWD! DAVID ARQUETTE HAS WON THE ROYAL RUMBLE!"

...wait...WWF/E has done good with celebs most of the time.

See: Drew Carey

Yeah, but if Bischoff won it it would be pure WCW-ish.

And Bisch had boners over celebrities too, so it wouldn't be just Russo.

Very true with Bisch and celebs.

I think it was one of Hogan's 1994 WCW feuds.

I'd still mark for David Arquette turning up on Raw and pointing out to HGH that he used to hold his belt!

Heh...he wouldn't even need the make up. He's got the beak already.

Director - "Now Hunter say the line"

Hunter "Uhhhhh"

Director "Cut, your line is quack"

Hunter "I'm not putting this script over"

Think of the Oscars!

I just thought of something, and a thousand pardons if this has been mentioned already, but how are they going to work commentary on the Rumble match? Have all four guys talking at once? I've heard three commentators before, but four?

Probably JR and King seeing as they are the more experienced pair, it'd be nice if they offered digital viewers an option though and put both tracks on the dvd

But, Cole and Tazz are better to listen to, in my opinion. Still, that is an interesting point, considering the Rumble is an all-out brawl, also known to the general public as a clusterfuck.

Back onto the subject of Raw.... they should continue the psycho hotness angle with King Stevie and Queen Victoria.

Also Kotz, I shortened my sig, since you asked so kindly in the NHB thread.

Yeah but they'd probably get a bit lost in the Rumble, JR has called them for years

Have no matches been announced yet? Are they still throwing darts backstage?

Guest DawnBTVS

Throwing darts? Silly....everybody knows Gerwitz wants Triple H and William Regal's opinions on every match before the show starts so the 'wrong' people don't get pushed.

I think sooner or later Rock'll be coming to Raw, maybe he'll make an appearance on Raw now and then--and be like, "but I have to go film my latest movie."

Heel Rock should rip off Andy Kaufman’s "I’m From Hollywood" routine.

Only he'd handle Lawler with a Rock Bottom--boom, bye bye to the Ring.

RAW begins 2003 this Monday night (9/8 CT on the new TNN), live from the America West Arena in Phoenix!

As RAW kicks off this Monday night, the Royal Rumble will be less than two weeks away. We know already that Scott Steiner will challenge Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship at the Rumble (which is Sunday, Jan. 19 in Boston). Two weeks ago, Steiner gained a psychological advantage, defeating the Game, seemingly with ease, in an arm-wrestling challenge. What will Triple H do this Monday night to tip the emotional scales back in his favor?

Also, 15 competitors from RAW will be part of the Royal Rumble match. Will we get any clues as to who those Superstars are?

Last week, we saw the greatest matches from 2002. This week, RAW begins a whole new year of great matches and unforgettable moments! Don't miss it!

Will there be any "Royal Rumble Returns" this year?

Last year we got: Godfather, Goldust and Mr. Perfect

This year I'm thinking: Rhyno, Jazz and Road Dogg

We'll probably get some as mystery Rumble participants. I doubt they will formally announce them like last year.

...okay, I'm done.

And that basically translates into "HHH will hog 90 minutes of every single show, twice that amount on Sundays, so you better learn to enjoy it".

...I'd laugh if they cancelled the Steiner/HHH MATCH at Royal Rumble for what they did with Warrior and and Rude for the Royal Rumble

Why did they cancel the Rude/Warrior match?
