Guest Zack Malibu Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 Nitpicks, praise...you know the deal
Guest Sandman9000 Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 I would like to say that I did not write the part where I killed Caboose.
Guest Big Poppa Popick Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 no one is going to sue you sandman
Guest Tony149 Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 The switchboards are lighting up everywhere, baby. 1000 complaints in the span of 15 minutes. A new record for the OaOast. We used a disclaimer, but you got balls, Mr. Popick. Oh, and you may want to talk with Caboose concerning that angle. He doesn't know if we killed him off for good or not. You put Vinnie Mac to shame when burying a wrestler. Good show. Funny to see CWM walk out with the tag straps considering it would of been him & SG, then him & Caboose, but both guys left.
Guest Big Poppa Popick Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 funny, i dont know if we killed him off for good or not either thats why i cut to black cwm's tag partners have bad luck OH SHIT! I'm the last one eliminated....that would mean i'm of for the love of...
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 Well BPP did tell me that Owen's murder would be solved but that was not what I expected. No one meant anything by it but as someone who meet Owen on two occasions I was offended by it.
Guest SP-1 Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 Accidents notwithstanding, the rest of the show I thought was good.
Guest The Superstar Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 I liked the show a lot. At least I finally know what the hell a "Euthanasia" match is
Guest SP-1 Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 Are we going to be using match screens on a regular basis? They're pretty easy to put together now.
Guest Tony149 Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 I'm not sure if we'll use them on TV, that's up to BPP, SM & Zack -- the guys who post the show. Each one has their own style. I can tell you this though -- I plan on using your graphics when I take over the PPVs again next month. Hmm...when the Angle Awards coming up, maybe we could do graphics where we see a pic of the winner with their Angle. It probably wouldn't look right though.
Guest The Superstar Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 ...unless we have them holding a championship, and replace the championship with the Angle award. Although, that would probably STILL look weird.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 The caboose/Owen Hart connection was a little iffy in regards to taste, to say the absolute least. As for me, since that's all that really matters anyway, I'd just like to point out that it's so hard to have to log out and log in for a few posts and then log out and log back in again. I don't know how all the gimmick posters do it....
Guest caboose Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 Okay, I know I said I quit, but I have to say,I thought a better scenario would have been written to bury me. I thought Sandman was meant to just straight off take me out, not kill me. I'm flattered to be the first person to ever be killed off in the OAOAST or an E-fed in all likelihood, but damn that was distasteful. I thought you were joking BPP when you said you were gonna ripoff the Owen incident.
Guest NazMistry Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 What the fuck is going on? I've been gone a while and Caboose has been killed off? I guess our fued is off?
Guest Sandman9000 Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 To be honest, I'm not comfortable with it at all. BPP told me that I was going to kill Caboose, but to do so in such a fashion is disguisting and disrespectful. I say we edit that segement ASAP.
Guest Zack Malibu Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 In a show of good faith to those who did not like the angle, and to show good taste, I went and edited the opening segment. On behalf of us all, I apologize for offending anyone. I feel responsible to an extent since I posted the show. Hopefully the new scenario works out better. Thank you.
Guest Sandman9000 Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 I'm not sure what BPP's intentions were (I'm under the assumption they were good, well, as good as murder can be), but anything that is remotely close to what happened to Owen Hart that night is pretty much taboo. Owen's death sparked a lot of emotion among people, and to in any way even mention the death (re; Piper's shoot at TNA) is cause for outrage. BTW: Zack, that re-edited begining should work.
Guest Anglesault Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 MURDER AND MAYHEM. THAT is the toned down version? Eh... It was a little disturbing. And Superstar, that wasn't the whole match. There are more details.
EL DANDY~! Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 Might as well start calling me Toshiaki DANDY~! Nice show, nice show. Death=Ratings
Guest Tony149 Posted January 8, 2003 Report Posted January 8, 2003 I don't think we should have edited the show. And nobody objected to it when it was brought up, but too late now. Then again, I don't think anybody thought Owen would be mentioned by name. And AS, if you just saw the censored version -- the SM character said something along the lines of "Here's another one for you, Owen."
Guest caboose Posted January 8, 2003 Report Posted January 8, 2003 I've just read the re-write. Thats a lot better. Why wasn't that done in the first place? Was Popick to pissed at me to use his common sense?
Guest Big Poppa Popick Posted January 8, 2003 Report Posted January 8, 2003 No I asked you about the angle....you didnt raise any objections so i ran with it if you didnt like it, i gave you time to speak up thanks zack... im going to post a Shoot column explaning to the fans in bpp style why that happened might as well milk this
Guest Anglesault Posted January 8, 2003 Report Posted January 8, 2003 Well, you said "Parody" his death. I wasn't too keen on it, but didn't object. If that line was said, that really comes off as mean spirited and disprespectful. Not that you meant it that way, but, you know.
Guest caboose Posted January 8, 2003 Report Posted January 8, 2003 I asked you over AOL if you were joking, and you just replied with with 'Well we are a parody E-Fed '. That to me suggested you were being sarcastic and joking about the Owen thing. Maybe if you'd asked for my opinion you wouldn't have made such a bad judgement. But isn't that what started this in the first place?
Guest Big Poppa Popick Posted January 8, 2003 Report Posted January 8, 2003 i did ask for your opinion geez, im sorry it came off as sarcasm...its text messaging for gods sake, so we read it wrong fine...im releasing the official oaoast statement on this and im closing this thread...im sick of all the talk its fixed, lets move on
