Guest SP-1 Report post Posted January 29, 2003 She's alright, Bubble Boy. I have come to like her covers of some of the worship songs that my own church covers because the sounds very similar. But I'm not so sure I'd run out to buy an album from her or anything. I prefer Christian music that's pushing the limits of what's "acceptable" in Christian music. The stuff that's more rock oriented.
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Report post Posted January 29, 2003 Truth be told, a lot of Christian music blatantly rips off secular music. There was this song we used to sing in church, called "There is Joy in the Lord" or something like that. It was "Stairway to Heaven".
Guest SP-1 Report post Posted January 29, 2003 I don't doubt it. Though I think it's more of trying to have a recognizable tune to get people attention that really trying to maliciously rip something else off.
