Guest HBK16 Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 I go and work out with this guy almost everyday. We met at the gym so really the only time we see each other is there and we go there together really. Working out buddies. Anyways, this guy is huge. I mean huge. So we were talking a few hours ago after we worked out and I asked him how long he'd been workign out. I had to I mean this guy was HUGE! So he told me he did steroids too. He asked me if next time I would like to try some out. But I cant just try it once. I would have to do the "bulking cycle". Now I know its not really the safest thing. I mean hes bee on them for a real long time and hes doesnt have any side effects that I have heard about that you get from steroids. Now if I was to decide to try it, what shouldn't I do? Has anybody ever tried anabolic steroids here?
Guest Sandman9000 Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 It depends what you enjoy more: large muscles or the ability to breed.
Guest The Old Me Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 I had a friend who used them in high school. He died of heart trouble while in college.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 I know people who are on roids and it completely changes their personality. they pecome a fucking jerk and it's really unhealthy. Don't do it.
Zetterberg is God Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 Two words: Scott Steiner. Jacked up psycho who lost any wrestling talent that he had plus his body is rapidly breaking down. So don't do it.
Guest Mole Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 Doing steroids is dumber than smoking cigarettes. Yes, cigarettes fuck you up, but in my opinion, roids fuck you up even more. Don't do it, it's dumb. You'll get acne, loose your hair, be a fuckin jerk, and worst off, your balls will get smaller. Do you really want your boys to shrink? I wouldn't want my boys to shrink. Just say no to roids Mole
Guest HBK16 Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 Thanks guys. I just wasnt sure. And when I need help on something I now always come here for advice. Its scary. Thanks.
Guest DeputyHawk Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 the thing is, hbk16, you're an aspiring wrestler right? depending on your size and athleticism, if you're serious about succeeding in the business it may be a necessity for you. if you can do the fast as lightning crusiers shit, then all power to you. if you're of average height, build and speed, it may be necessary in order to be taken seriously. i know after jody fleish and johnny storm went out to the u.s. for the first time their first horrified thoughts in the locker room were fuck we need to bulk up here. just think long and fucking hard about whether you enjoy being a nice person (huge mood swings), entertain the notion of one day starting a family (possibility of sterility) and wish to be able to maintain use of your body past middle age (if you don't have a heart attack before even then). you got some tough choices to make.
Guest HBK16 Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 Well I am not a wrestler. I am small though but I have a lot of people's respect mainly because I beat the shit out of anybody that thinks diferent. I will probably hold off on the roids. You all brought up very good points.
Guest Banky Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 When you are aging and thinking back no steroids your most immediate memory will be of your pebble-sized testicles.
Guest snuffbox Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 Steroids are easilly among the stupider things a person could do. Obvious example is Superstar Billy Graham. Hes in a sad sad state right now, but at one time was one of the most amazing physical specimens in wrestling. Really a tragic story at this point. The complete change/destruction of personality, the obviousness to those around u of the usage, the shrinkage of the manhood, loss of sexual appetite, and the total anihilation of wherever on the body you shoot up at(thats why Superstar needed the hip surgeries). Not cool. No is a good choice!
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 There are two sides, as I know of a few people who are healthy because they don't overdo it. While it is terrible for your body, if you don't go too heavy, it may not show any side-effects at all. Of course, the chances of that happening are slim to none, so don't risk it and don't do it. Just run and work out, that should be good enough, because if you've just started, than odds are you haven't even reached your max yet..
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 I kinda can't help but think: You just know some guy, he offers you something you inject into your blood via needles, and you're seriously considering it. Maybe it's just here in California we're really focused on not spreading AIDS or something...
Guest Respect The 'Taker Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 Doing steroids is dumber than smoking cigarettes. NICOTINE!!! WHERE?? UYI - Has an addiction problem
Guest Ace309 Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 Sheesh. Just become an alcoholic like the rest of us. Sincerely, Some guy who got to the thread after all the useful advice had been given already.
