JR: More senile by the day

Recommended Posts

Guest Jobber of the Week
The thing that got me hooked on Wrestling was seeing Ric Flair walk out holding THE REAL WORLD'S HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP! WHOOO!

"Hogan's belt is just a a T-Bone Steak! This [He points to the Big Blurred Belt] is Filet Mingon! WHOOO!"

(10 points for those who remember that promo and the NWA taking the belt from Flair after Vince blurred it out)

I actually did see Flair win the Royal Rumble in 92, but I didn't really get any wrestling habit from it. Part of the problem was right when he was giving the post-Rumble speech my Dad walked by and said "Don't you know that crap is fake?"

It's official.....Ross is senile.

He called 3MW on RAW tonight 3-Count and didn't correct himself. Yes b/c we know 2 fat samoans look so much like 3 skinny white guys.

And he made it official last night......Charlie Haas is a BY GAWD HOSS!

Yeah, the dude is lost now. I hated that "Charlie Haas is a HOSS indeed" and "And out comes Rico with 3 Count".........He just seems to be trying to hard with his corny sayings now "He's tougher than a 3 dollar steak" "that Steven Richards is goofier than a pet coon" "That damn victoria is a jezebel".....and everytime RVD does a move he can't figure out the name for we hear the great overused "He's got a very unorthadox style". IT just seems as if the guy can't come up with new material anymore and keeps babbling the same shit. It's just too tiresome already. Hang em up JR

How could anyone be drawn in by the Kiss My Ass club? I was there live when that paticular incident you are referring to happened......it was terrible.....

If everyone's taking a trip down memory lane then I will to! The thing that got me hooked on Wrestling was seeing Ric Flair walk out holding THE REAL WORLD'S HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP! WHOOO! I was like "Man who's this guy and what's with the belt!?" *i was only like 6 and had never heard of wrestling* and I watched it and thought it ruled all. Now 12 years later I still recognize the man!

God I LOVED that angle...

The Hogan/Savage/Liz stuff from WrestleMania V is what turned me on to wrestling... and I haven't stopped watching it since... Christ, has it been THAT long?

I been watching wrestling since I was a baby. My mom remembers the day I first started watching wrestling. It was the episode of the main event when back in February 1988 when Hulk Hogan lost the WWF Title to Andre. My cousin who was visiting us at the time, was the biggest Hulkamaniac and she just went CRAZY when Hulk lost (and she was 15!) I was watching her then I turned to the T.V. and saw Hulk. Then, after that, I was hooked. I stopped watching in '93 when Hulk left and just stuck to WCW for Hogan and watched some ECW on the side. But when Stone Cold became huge and Wrestlemania XIV and the whole wrestling boom took place, I decided to see what the whole fuss was about, and been watching the WWF/E since.

But back to the subject, anyone remember King of the Ring 99 when J.R. started blabbing about football but it had nothing to do with the match (Rock/Undertaker WWF Title). Then he himself admitted he had no idea what he was talking about? That was funny!

Now how could that happen when JR never watched WCW? I mean, according to him WCW sucked and all, and with Nitro airing at the same time JR is supposed to be working at RAW, then...that must mean that -- gasp -- JR was not only watching, but TAPING WCW! Traitor!
