Rob E Dangerously Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 Al Wilson memorial banner. I know that if the health of Al Wilson concerns you, you will be disappointed to hear that he is dead. I heard earlier this month that he was 61, so the birthdate was a guess. Heaven needed a champion, so they got Al Wilson
Guest Will Scarlet Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 I know I am disappointed. I'll miss Al. He was truly an inspiration to us all.
Guest The Czech Republic Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 Is he seriously dead? He can't be.
Rob E Dangerously Posted January 14, 2003 Author Report Posted January 14, 2003 Al Wilson was an inspiration to all the people out there who would never make it in wrestling due to lack of personality, physique and all that. He was a common man, stuck in a love triangle between a whore and his daughter. You can't say that he didn't die doing what he loved to do.
Guest IB2BLACK Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 Is that really Torrie's father in real life?
Rob E Dangerously Posted January 14, 2003 Author Report Posted January 14, 2003 some people claimed that Al was Torrie's step-father, but I'm not sure if he was the real dad or not
Guest NoSelfWorth Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 It is her real father. Poor woman.
EL DANDY~! Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 Al Wilson was a mack among macks. He is why I chose to be the pimp I am today. May he live forever in our hearts, and may his pimp hand upstairs always be strong...
Guest humongous2002 Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 Anything could happen in the WWE, a company that could give an ancient uncharismatic non-wrestler the biggest push in his "wrestling" career and have truly deserving wrestlers like RVD, Book and Y2J stuck in midcard limbo.
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 Wrestling fans are the ones to blame. The Al Wilson - Torrie - Dawn Marie triangle thingy angle is consistantly one of their highest rated segments, so why wouldn't they continue to push it down our throats?
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 I hope you're currently rotting you dumb old fuck. If I knew where they were keeping your ashes I'd piss on them for wasting so much of my Smackdown time with this ridiculously shitty angle.
Guest The Tino Standard Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 Wrestling fans are the ones to blame. The Al Wilson - Torrie - Dawn Marie triangle thingy angle is consistantly one of their highest rated segments, so why wouldn't they continue to push it down our throats? Well, if the loud "TURN IT OFF" chants at the SmackDown tapings on Sunday are any indication, I'd say fans have had their fill on this angle and are ready to move on.
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 They've been talking about the memorial on the commercials, so I don't think its really a spoiler.
Guest NoCalMike Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 Somehow I have a feeling that with the WWE editing crew, by tommorow night, the "Turn it off" chant will either be muffled so bad it just sounds like random noise, or it will be morphed into a "We Want Al" chant....just to give the delusion to the fans watching at home, that everyone likes what they are seeing.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 Turn it off will = Take it off somehow..
