Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted January 18, 2003 Noble and Nunzio are doing nothing. Helms is doing nothing. Only Stevie and Kidman should have a case made for them. Stevie's my third favorite in the company right now, but I don't think there's room for him this year. Well, Nunzio is fairly new, and helped Knoble a bit, but they're still doing more than Rikishi and A-Train. Stick them both in and have them work together to build their relationship, possibly tease a Rey/Knoble feud. Helms looks to be starting something w/ Stevie (who really isn't doing anything, either, other than being Victoria's "valet"), so they could use the RR to build that. Jeff, Dreamer, and Rosie & Jamal are doing nothing on Raw (hell, Dreamer hasn't been on Raw or Heat in months), yet their all in. Helms is more over than both members of 3MW, so that alone should get him in the RR.
Guest creativename Report post Posted January 18, 2003 It's pretty messed up if they don't let Damaja in, completely no-selling OVW like that. (plus, it means Angle jobbed for nothing) He lost his Royal Rumble shot. When did this happen? Because on the OVW website, it's still hyping him up as appearing. Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted January 18, 2003 If WWE was using RR to bring back Austin, the better as hell should have dropped more hints.... What about all those Classic Raw Moment bits?
Guest Brian Report post Posted January 18, 2003 Austin just gets in the arena and starts stunning people until he gets his spot. That'd actually be sorta cool. They'd have to totally portray him as an outsider looking in with Vince putting in certain guys to try and knock him out. And, they need to not play the music. As cool as it is, the Austin comeback storyline has to be as a total rebel coming in from the outside until Bischoff accepts him as a last ditch effort with McMahon. Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted January 18, 2003 The problem with Austin coming in and looking strong is that he's probably going to be asking very VERY high when negotiations next come round if he looks like he single-handedly saves the ratings. Just for insurance, Vince may have Austin look weak and job to a few of HHH's cast-offs at first so he can pin any ratings boost on something else.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted January 18, 2003 Why would Vince bring back Austin and then make him look weak. It would be a waste of money, ratings and money. It would also end up pissing off Austin fans. And if Austin pops ratings high enough to put him in the position to ask for a fortune Vince will be more than happy to pay him whatever he wants. Either bring Austin back as Austin or leave him in Texas. It would be a waste of time and money to bring Austin in and then turn around and make him look weak.
