Guest big Dante Cruz Report post Posted January 18, 2003 According to 1wrestling (read off of LordofPain.net) then it seems to be that ppl aren't happy with how Raw X came off and that it wasn't a show that WWE could be proud of. Well where'd ya park your squad car, Dick Tracy? It just makes me wonder what exactly they're referring to that they aren't happy with. Hell, I was unhappy with almost the whole thing... EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2003 All we needed was Austin coming out and pulling a cathedar out of HHH's ass, thus showing that there is truly a bond between Vince and HHH...
Ultimo Dugas 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2003 Of course they couldn't be proud of it. They teased the return of Austin highly, then rub it in our face that he isn't there. Not to mention the fact that they couldn't even get Bobby Heenan to show up, or any person not under contract for that matter.
Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted January 18, 2003 It just makes me wonder what exactly they're referring to that they aren't happy with Jericho, Christian & RVD.
Guest NoSelfWorth Report post Posted January 18, 2003 I wonder how many things they'll blame instead of blaming who was really at fault.
Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted January 18, 2003 I wonder how many things they'll blame instead of blaming who was really at fault. Please tell me you are referring to Vince McMahon. He is the ONLY one to blame for the shittiness of this show.
Guest Quik Report post Posted January 18, 2003 Well, they had a super-hot crowd to work off of... ha ha I still say that was the best WWE Crowd in ages.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted January 18, 2003 No let's just blame Vince's ego. "He doesn't work for me so I'm not going to pay him even if those fans want to see him! They'll like what I give them!"
Guest Brian Report post Posted January 18, 2003 Are you talking about Hart, Damaramu? Becuse unless they were giving his brother an award for RMOTD, there was no reason for him to be on there.
Guest The Amazing Rando Report post Posted January 18, 2003 Who wouldn't be proud of forgetting the fact that 4 years of the companys life pratically didn't exist and that the THEIR wrestler of the decade wasn't even INVITED to attend the show... that's like having a super bowl afterparty and not inviting the champions even though you totally could... Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted January 18, 2003 I'm talking about EVERYONE they could've brought back. I mean come on what about Foley!? Hell they could've brought Sable so that she could win Diva of the Decade as opposed to Trish who's been there for what? 2 years! And what about Austin? For the love of god he still works there! But no...if you've ever done something to anger almighty Vince then he doesn't care if it ruins show quality...
Guest The Amazing Rando Report post Posted January 18, 2003 i think they should have had all the guys they could have gotten for the Wrestler Of The Decade and have them do little interviews or something....or even shown some nice video packages and then go to them for reaction...whatever... It just seemed lacking in so many many places
Guest Human Fly Report post Posted January 18, 2003 In retrospect they should've kept the show at one hour. They were probably just pissed that Rocky got booed. Their big booking plans for Rock v. Goldberg exploded right in front of them.
Guest The Amazing Rando Report post Posted January 18, 2003 If I could only go ONE DAY without seeing that picture in Human Fly's sig.... that picture is awesome and it made me cry when I saw it on RAW X and every time I see it I get misty eyed...
Guest Brian Report post Posted January 18, 2003 I understand Austin totally. The angle is that Austin can't appear at WWE shows, and Trips has an underlying jealousy of him. So when Bischoff runs out of options, he brings in Austin, which helps but infiuriates McMahon and Trips. Anyways, is Hart even in shape to be traveling? Guest Downhome Report post Posted January 18, 2003 Not that I look back on it, I'm more damned pissed at their sorry ass nominations and winners of the awards more than anything else. Why didn't they make it so the wrestlers, and everyone else in the business could vote on everything? I think the only award that they got right was RAW Wrestler of The Decade.
Guest The Amazing Rando Report post Posted January 18, 2003 because the wrestlers would all vote for whom Vince wanted them too....or they would be forced to job to Rikishi...CLEAN

Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2003 I agree with everyone about the bad awards. Still, the show *did* have it's entertaining moments. Plus, it was interesting to see Jay Reso in glasses, and RVD in a suit.
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted January 18, 2003 At least we didn't have to hear the company BS has this show was a "homerun". At least they acknowledge the fact the show was a disgrace to everything Raw SHOULD mean.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted January 18, 2003 Plus, it was interesting to see Jay Reso in glasses, and RVD in a suit. Why don't you just call him by his wrestling name!? It just sounds kinda stupid to call them by there real name when they're more widely known by there wrestling name.

Foley was invited but declined the invitation. I read that WWE invited a lot of people from the past but most wanted huge appearance fees or wanted the company to pay for them and their families to show up. I don't blame the company for turning them down. Like someone said, I think they are saving Austin for a later date.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted January 18, 2003 Oh please it doesn't cost that much to pay for a hotel for them and there family. I mean think of all the money the WWE makes plus the revenue from the people that attended that night alone should've covered all those wrestlers flying in. If they wanted it to be so damn special then Vince wouldn't have been so tight with his money. Oh we can spend 2 million dollars to bring the nWo in to kill fan interest but we can't spend a few hundred thousand to make a show special.

Because it makes them look so much smarter in front of their friends Yuna: Did you see that match between Michael Hickenbottom and Chris Irvine? Friend: Who? Yuna: IDIOT. Saturn hung up on someone back when he did the sudio commentary on his site because they started pulling that.
