Guest Karnage Report post Posted January 19, 2003 I heard that some WWF/E DVDs, specifically PPVs, have really bad pixelated quality because of the length of time and how they encoded it onto the disc. Does anyone know if this is true and which discs look horrible?
Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted January 19, 2003 Im probably not the person to be answering this since Im not like a huge DVD freak like some people are and notice every little frame or sound, etc. but from someone who has several WWE PPVs on DVD they look fine to me, good quality about what you'd see if ordering it from the PPV. Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2003 I can't speak for too many PPVs, but the Invasion quality isn't as good as it could be. But that could probably be attributed to the extras so..*shrug*. Personally, I think it'd be better if they used Widescreen style instead of full screen. Guest bob_barron Report post Posted January 19, 2003 The quality is fine- sometimes the sound is a little too loud for when they show stuff from TV but it's just fine otherwise
The Dames 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2003 Yuna, they don't shoot the footage in widescreen because its usually a direct port of the PPV on TV. Dames
