Guest ISportsFan Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 It is Hulk Hogan. He's back. Son of a ARGHHHH! Jason
Guest EricMM Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 Worst. Bombshell. Ever. Actually, it's probably not (sigh) but damn, that's stupidly useless. STOP CALLING IT A BOMBSHELL IF IT'S NOT A BOMBSHELL, YOU'RE JUST MAKING US ALL JADED!!!! *pant pant*
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 Dang..theres 2 of these... Anyway, like I said in the other one (since one is gonna fall off by the wayside), you gotta believe this is gonna lead up to Lesnar vs Hogan at NWO for the #1 contender spot at Wrestlemania.
Guest candie45 Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 I'm torn... I'm happy that they aren't fueding over Austin, but it's... Hogan...
Guest Anglesault Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 Benoit jobs to Hogan at Mania?
Guest jester Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 Whew, for a minute they we were concerned they might push a good worker, but Hogan's return decreases the odds of that happening. God, I hate Hogan.
Guest Mole Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 Nope, because of the Vince stuff, it will be Hogan vs Vince at Mania, I bet.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 Benoit over Hogan at NWO would be great. But then Hogan would be getting to Ric Flair levels of lost credibility.
Guest wwF1587 Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 i dont call that really a bombshell either as I wasnt shocked when i read it... its still better than RAWs...
Guest Just call me Dan Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 I called it, Rock/Goldberg to RAW and Hogan will go to Smackdown. Austin will be right behind him after swerving the fans and declining the RAW invitation.
Guest Dangerous A Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 If this leads to Hogan/Austin at Mania when there are better matches out there, color me pissed off.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 That match has to happen down the line, look for it at Summerslam.
Guest midnight_burn Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 Benoit jobs to Hogan at Mania? Probably.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 Jericho got two chances and never got a win.
Guest EternallyLazy Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 Hogan still put Jericho over... hell Hogan admitted on several radio shows that Jericho is one of the top 5 best workers he's ever wrestled
Guest EternallyLazy Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 If this leads to Hogan/Austin at Mania when there are better matches out there, color me pissed off. A Benoit/Austin match would probably rock the earth, but I would MUCH rather seen Hogan/Austin just for historical reasons and pure markout value
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 Austin vs. Hogan. Big Boot Blocked, Stunner. 1, 2, kick-out. Hogan hulks Up, Austin flips him the double-bird, Kick-Wham Stunner again. 1-2-3. I am a Hogan mark and I still would love to see that! But this was a crappy Bombshell. In terms of Bombshells go, I expect something that will actually effect the promotion in something other than one angle.
Guest bob_barron Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 You stole my idea for Austin v. Hogan! :-) Austin v. Hogan should not happen mainly because it would just be Vince trying to cash in on Rock v. Hogan and it does nothing for business in the long run. I thought the bombshell was pretty cool and it will be interesting to see what they do at Montreal
Guest Rob Edwards Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 I bet anyone who said this company was desperate is eating their words right now
Guest Downhome Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 Don't forget how damn over he was in Canada, you must not forget that. NWO could have a magical feel to it, if you are in the least a Hogan fan, like myself.
Mecha Mummy Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 It's still an improvement over inviting Austin to come to Raw after Bisch would be fired.
Guest Brian Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 Can't he just get the win over Vince and leave?
Guest Rob Edwards Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 Don't forget how damn over he was in Canada, you must not forget that. NWO could have a magical feel to it, if you are in the least a Hogan fan, like myself. Everything has its sell by date DH
Guest TheHulkster Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 The only disappointment I have is that I could've been at SD, but wasn't. I've never seen Hogan live.
Guest bob_barron Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 Montreal LOVES Hogan so they're better off just having him cut a promo and not wrestling
Guest Zack Malibu Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 Long shot: Hogan vs. Vince has Bret Hart as a special referee (or some type of Bret involvement), thus tying in all the "Shoot" aspects in one match, and having both Hogan and Bret get their ultimate revenge on Vince (like Bret counting the pin for Hogan).
Guest netslob Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 DAMN!! i was hoping it would be a bigger tit-job.
LooseCannon25 Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 I would loooooove to see Hogan vs. Vince at NWO with Bret as the referee. Then have hogan put Vince in a sleeper hold and have Bret call for the bell right away. It would be poetic justice for all the fans in Montreal.

Or I dunno. Something. 2) If Bret looked at the crowd and they cheered him on to screw him over. Maybe I'm being over protective, but i remember a certain WCW PPV... where a canadian cheated, and ended up looking like a total weak heel and pissing off the fans.
