Guest Rob Edwards Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 It seems a bit harsh to judge Edge's topline potential until he gets into a program with a top star or is allowed to turn heel to let his character develop a bit, he's certainly over and gets carried to some great matches aswell as having a marketable look. Not really any reason not to push him there from a promoters point of view

E+C SOOO carried their fued with the Hardy Boyz, simply by being super heels "Now Cole, we're about to do what is referred to in this business as a 'run-in'." But edge as a face is pretty boring. He can bring the workrate about as much as most superstars can, I mean he's not part of the trinity, but he's fine.

Then when he started busting his ass reguarly as a part of the SD6 I sat back and thought "Hey this guys is pretty good. I can picture him as world champ. Yeah let's push Edge!" and now there's a rumor that they want him depushed! I've figured out that the WWE does exactly the opposite of what I want. That's why I should start clamoring for more HHH and UT air time.
