Who is the 4th best worker in the WWE?

The top 3 for most is Angle,Benoit, Guerrero. In no particular order. I got to thinking who would you rank 4th behind the Big 3. Edge, Rey, Jericho, or someone else?

I say Jericho. He's the best person on RAW...sorry RVD fans. Plus he doesn't have the benefit of working with The Big 3 like Edge does. He carried Kane to one of his best matches (not saying much), argubably has the best matches on RAW almost every week (again not saying much). The in-ring screwups have nearly vanished.

I'd say Mysterio. Jericho's a solid choice too. I wouldn't consider Edge or RVD to be in the running.

I'd go with Mysterio or Jamie Noble, though i'm probably forgetting someone obvious.

My top ten are:

1. Kurt Angle

2. Chris Benoit

3. Eddy Guerrero

4. Chris Jericho

5. (tie) Edge and Rob Van Dam -both need to work on selling

7. Rey Mysterio

8. Chavo Guerrero Jr.

9. Booker T

10. Lance Storm

Eventually i think John Cena, Charlie Haas, Shelton Benjamin, and Brock Lesnar can make this list, once they get more experience (Haas and Benjamin) or once the wwe lets the guys do what they are capable of (Cena and Lesnar)

Booker T. should be up there, I think. He's had the best matches on Raw, and though it was a team effort, I think his part in the BookDust/JeriChristian match was played too well to ignore.

of the remaining guys on the roster, jericho seems to know how to work a match best. but he's gotten sloppy and lazy, so i'll go with rey.

I'd say Jericho as well--yes, I am an RVD fan, though.

after being at the top at one time.. to being one of hhh's favorite bitches and having to job to John Cena... id be lazy too... just seems there isnt much point

Hmm...I'd say Jericho. Edge, Rey and Chavo are pretty close behind though. And I don't consider RVD a great worker, and I am a RVD fan.

Y2J...it's not really close. Other than that lousy over the top rope four way battle royal they had, he's always been at ** or above...which is amazing considering he's on RAW.

Remember how much better RAW was when Benoit and Guerrero were on?

Jericho. But if he could have a match longer that 1:08 I'd say Lance Storm.

Rey Misterio Jr is a really good worker, but he doesn't get as much love as he deserves sometimes because of his style. I'd say either him or Jericho.

Mysterio easily. Noble would challenge Rey if he got more ring time, but as it is Rey is right up there. In some matches I think Rey has been just as good if not better than Eddy, Angle and Benoit. His selling is really improved from his end of WCW stint and his offense is just so smooth. Plays the face in peril like no other also. You can really see that Edge has developed a lot of his own face in peril schtick just by tagging with Rey and learning from him.

My Top 13

Benoit

Angle

Eddy

Jericho

Rey

Edge

Chavo

Tajiri

Booker

Knoble

Kane

Storm

Triple H (When he cares)

Posted

-Benoit

-Eddy

-Angle or Mysterio (Angle falls into the trap sometimes and gets spotty, but Rey has yet to showcase everything he worked on in the indies,

-Knoble (fuck, pick some HWA tapes and watch this guy mimmick Benoit and Dynamite with the ultra cool selling, just with a different, and smarter in some cases, offense)

-Chavo (Chavo can be so rudo sometimes)

-Spanky (although that's based on something different)

-Booker or Jericho (depending on if Jericho's on, because Booker is more consistent at his thing and Jericho can get spotty)

-Tajiri (has some rudoness and some smart in his work, can get spotty)

This is probably the mid-upper to upper tier of workers. Brock, The OMEGA boys, and Edge are in the next level.

I'd say Booker. As much as I'm a Jericho mark, the guy's had some real rough spots in the last couple of years.

I am not seeing nearly enough Chavo on these lists. The man puts psychology in almost every match I've seen him in and he busts out the moveset. Great worker. He's far more capable of carrying someone to a good match than Rey or Edge. Jericho is pretty good too, but he hasn't really changed his moveset at all since his last title run.

See, the problem is Rey's not given that opportunity as much in the WWE, but he's more refined than Chavo. Rey's actually as strong a mat worker as the big three and Knoble (maybe Benoit excluded).

I like Storm, he's a decent worker, but I'd say that while he's better than Edge or RVD, he's a step below Jericho or Rey or Chavo. And maybe I was wrong, and maybe Chavo probably is the most deserving #4, but the guy hasn't had as much of an opportunity to show his skills as a lot of the others.

If Storm wasn't wrestling his current dull-as-shit style, he could do just as good a job or better than Edge has been doing in his various fued where he's been carried by superior workers. If we got to see a Storm/Angle, Storm/Eddy, Storm/Benoit series, I think workrate-wise it would easily blow Edge's matches with those same guys away.

Storm's a mixed bag. He throws some of the weakest strikes ever and tends to get really spotty.

I can't put storm on the list, him and regal were both damn good and now are damn, damn bad. I wouldn't say no to him getting a 20 minute match though. Booker I love, but he's not a great worker. Jericho is my favourite from those mentioned, but I think Noble is extremely underrated as well. Oh and WHERE'S THE GOLDUST LOVE???

In terms of overall skill, my number 4 is Chavo Guerrero. He is a crisper wrestler than Eddy is, but he doesn't have the in-ring presence and story-telling ability that Eddy does, although he is good in those areas as well. Jericho is too sloppy, Rey is too spotty, and Noble is good but has got the same problems Chavo has and doesn't get half the time Chavo does, so Chavo is my pick.

Jericho when he's on would be number five, but I haven't watched RAW lately so I can't comment on him too much. When I commented on him being too sloppy I was basing him on how his work normally is. He might have improved since then, I don't know.

However, as far as entertaining me goes Matt Hardy is the easy number 4. He's a good worker, not great, but his new attitude has completely turned around his career. A year ago, I hated him almost as much as Jeff.

1. Guerrero

2. Benoit

3. Angle

4. Jericho

5. Chavo

6. Mysterio

7. Noble

8. Tajiri

9. Goldust

10. Cena (bias)

Honerable mention: Charlie Haas, Edge (when carried), Booker T, Brock Lesnar, Sheldon Benjamin, Spanky (haven't seen enough from him), and Matt Hardy

PS. When Austin comes back, he'll be number 3. Everyone else will move down.
