Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted January 27, 2003 RAW comes to you live Monday night (9/8 CT on The New TNN). With Vince McMahon's threats still fresh in his head, Eric Bischoff invited Stone Cold Steve Austin back to RAW last week. Hopefully for Bischoff fans everywhere, Stone Cold will make his return at No Way Out, leaving Bischoff's job intact. If he doesn't, we may be looking at Shane McMahon as the new General Manager of RAW. Will Stone Cold shed some light on this situation Monday night? Or will he make Erich Bischoff sweat it out some more? Find out Monday night on The New TNN. Also last week, an errant swing of a steel chair by Chris Jericho landed on Stacy Keiber's skull. The last we saw of Stacy, she was being carted off to a nearby medical facility. Undoubtedly, she has all the Testicles in the world pulling for her. Find out more about Stacy's condition Monday night. ----- Look at the bolded part. Yes, the Raw writing team STILL DOESN'T REALIZE THAT THE TIME LIMIT IS UP BEFORE NO WAY OUT TAKES PLACE!! Guest Justwitty Report post Posted January 27, 2003 I'm actually looking forward to RAW tomorrow for the first time in a long while. The late January to Wrestlemania RAW's are usually pretty damn good as they are building to No Way Out and Wrestlemania and they usually seem to put in more effort than usual this time of year. This is the time where we figure out who will probably get to make an impact at Wrestlemania as well which is always fun to guess. (Although, at this time last year, I thought Hennig was a shoe-in for a high profile match. Oops.) Jericho will probably get a fair amount of air-time due to his storyline which is always a plus and hopefully, the writers will allow Bischoff to pull off another "shock" tactic. Although, wouldn't it be nice if it affected RAW right away instead of a PPV???
Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted January 27, 2003 Eh--I dunno what Raw could really pull off to gain immediate interest since Austin isn't coming. As for the countdown, I expect them to replay that segment with Nowinski at the top of last week's Raw for several weeks on end, continually saying Bischoff has 21 days. Then the announcers act like it's 21 days left. And it'll keep going on until they actually decide they have the next 3 weeks planned out correctly.
Guest Justwitty Report post Posted January 27, 2003 This may only be funny to me but it could be a harmless "in" joke if they did do what you suggested with the Nowinski promo and have Christian keep coming up to him confused about the timing of it all since he was there. (Tonight) Nowinski: "Well Mr. Bischoff, if my math if correct, and I'm sure it is, you only have 21 days left." (Bischoff nods) Christian: Whoa, whoa. Didn't you say that last week?" Nowinski: "...No." Christian: "....Hmmm. Well, you are a Harvard graduate." (Next week) Nowinski: "Well Mr. Bischoff, 21 days and counting, eh?" Christian: "Dude! You SO totally said that last week!" Nowinski: "What? No. I'm a Harvard graduate. I'm never wrong." (Chris walks away, Christian gets on cell phone) Christian: "Grandma....it's Christian.....Christian....C-H-R-I-S-T-I-A-N...Fine, it's Edge. Anyways, what day is today?" (Christian then for no reason, pulls down pants and shows his ass as a rib on all math majors who can actually count.)

Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted January 27, 2003 It would do wonders for any angle that this could possibly lead to if Vince fired Bischoff the Raw before No Way Out.
Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted January 27, 2003 Justwitty: Hehehe--great ideas. Hmm...running gags, irony, continuity, inside joke and parody--all at the same time?! Eh...to combine them all at once would be too sophisticated for the Raw writing team to think of. Intentionally. Still, it would by far be the best thing on the damn show I'd expect. Hmm, is it a bad sign for them that I care more about this aspect of the show than their precious main event angle?
Guest Justwitty Report post Posted January 27, 2003 Eh...to combine them all at once would be too sophisticated for the Raw writing team to think of. Intentionally. LOL! I also agree that it's a bad sign when comedy takes more interest than the main angle leading into the biggest show of the year in just over two months. Although more screen time for Randy Orton is never a bad thing...unless he has his "RNN" personality taken away like Ric Flair had his "Woo's" taken away. (my apologies if that is just a "Triple H is Satan" rumor that actually is not true. I've only vaguely heard about it.) Marvin, I hadn't thought of that possibility before and now that you've brought it up, it would make perfect sense. Bischoff is fired, Shane is inserted. At No Way Out, it's revealed that Austin is siding with Bisch and from there, Bischoff either sells Austin's contract to Smackdown as payback or uses Austin to try and take RAW back over. Maybe the monkeys known as the WWE booking team have typed so long, they stumbled upon a coherent idea. (i.e. the 30 days being over before No Way Out for a reason.) Finally, again, just for me, I thought up of one other way the Christian phone call could go. (it should be noted that it's midnight and only I will find this funny tomorrow.) Christian: "Grandma, it's Christian...What?....No, I'm not on Smackdown!...I'm on RAW....R-A-W....Never heard of it?...I've been on here for several months!! I was an UnAmerican!...Yes grandma, I know being Canadian AND calling myself UnAmerican is redundant.....no, that's Edge on Smackdown....No, that's not me either. That's Mark Henry....Do you even know what I look like grandma?....Forget all of that...how long is 21 days?...Why are you laughing?"
Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted January 27, 2003 Undoubtedly, she has all the Testicles in the world pulling for her Cute wording there. Any matches announced yet? I know it's not 8:50 PM yet, but they may have some planned before that time.
Guest Mattdotcom Report post Posted January 27, 2003 Well, the RAW team is probably getting ready to eat lunch, Spiff, so expect their napkins to be full of matches! In a few hours.
Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted January 27, 2003 I have a feeling their gonna go with the "Stacy lost all her memory" thing. Which will lead to some Great acting from Test over the next few weeks.

Guest jester Report post Posted January 27, 2003 I have a feeling their gonna go with the "Stacy lost all her memory" thing. That's the first thing I thought of too. Or maybe she'll think she's someone else, to add to the hilarity.
Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted January 27, 2003 As far as the whole Eric Bischoff/Vince/Shane thing goes, my understanding is that Bischoff had 30 days to figure out how to turn RAW around. He's already made his announcement about Austin, showing that he knows what he has to do (in his opinion) to "save" RAW. I don't think it means that Austin has to show up within the 30 days. I'm figuring Austin comes back, but declines Eric's offer, leaving him stuck without a job, Shane back in power, and Austin on SMACKDOWN where he wants to be. Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted January 27, 2003 I'm figuring Austin comes back, but declines Eric's offer, leaving him stuck without a job, Shane back in power, and Austin on SMACKDOWN where he wants to be. Wreslting, or at least McMahon, logic dictates that this will probably happen. At Vengeance, HHH teased going to SD, then chose Raw. So, with SC, I'm thinking it will go the opposite. Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted January 27, 2003 Matt and John are going to be at Raw tonight. I guess they'll have a match on either Raw or Heat.

Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted January 27, 2003 I think I know where they're going with the Bischoff storyline. He'll fail to receive confirmation on Austin returning and be fired after 28 days (the fools). Then Austin will return at No Way Out after reaching an agreement with Shane McMahon, and explaining that he would never work for Eric since he fired him in WCW and told him he would never draw. Then Eric (who'll still be with the company anyway) can lead a group of merry men and hosses to take out Austin.
Guest The Amazing Rando Report post Posted January 27, 2003 maybe Stacy can believe she is a mid-1999 Steph and still be all over Test....and then leave him for Hunter.... And all the Testicles will one by one hit the floor.... and I know what I just said...
Guest wwF1587 Report post Posted January 27, 2003 man i still laugh at the complete stupidity of the RAW team... I mean they are fukin up soo bad now its not even funny.. hell even marks aren't this stupid... if vince comes out tonight and gives bischoff an extension (till NWO) to get austin or be fired.. i will forgive them... and how is bringing autin back shaking raw soo much...they should do other things than just bring austin back to shake up raw..but hey this the mindless world of the wwe so what do i know
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Report post Posted January 27, 2003 Who says Stacy's even going to be awake? We're going to see her in a "hospital room" in a coma while Test continues his attempts at crying.
Guest Justwitty Report post Posted January 27, 2003 On "Bottom Line" on Saturday, Marc Lloyd said Stacy merely suffered a concussion. So I doubt they'll go for the amnesia angle. The good news is, this allows Jericho to be uber-asshole heel and mock her for not being strong enough to take a chair shot. "My beard could have withstood it! I am King Of The World! Viva La Me!" Anyone else think Kane may turn on RVD tonight setting them up for No Way Out? The Wrestlemania website features Brock, Angle, Hunter, RVD and Trish on the main page. Perhaps, (wishful thinking) HHH and RVD is planned for WM which means the eventual Kane/RVD breakup could be rushed for No Way Out. (Then Kane could join Triple H's group. It would suck and make no sense which makes it RAW~)
Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted January 27, 2003 Perhaps, (wishful thinking) HHH and RVD is planned for WM Wishful thinking, indeed. I would give that a 2% chance of happening.
Guest Human Fly Report post Posted January 27, 2003 I'd roll if they had Matt or John join HHH's new group. Does anybody have any idea who HHH is going to face at 'Mania? Does the WWF even know?

Triple H: "Matt-uh. I beat Holly at Summerslam 1995-uh. We have a bond-uh." John: "But I can do a move no one else does! I'm athletic!" (Triple H sends Batista to botch a clothesline on John and hurt him for good. Actually, it wasn't supposed to be botched but well...it's Batista.) btw, no, I'm not a Triple H hater. Not a fan either. I just take my opportunies when I can get them. As far as opponents at WM, there's still Kevin Nash, Steve Austin and Ric Flair. (Flair turns on him and claims that WM is his farewell match. Will it happen? No. But I'm just tossing out names.) Outside of Austin, there really aren't many good possibilities for a good RAW Main Event at WM.

Guest Justwitty Report post Posted January 27, 2003 It's ok Yuna. I am fully aware I am fighting a losing battle with my Jeff Richards fandom. As for RAW tonight, any guesses on if Shane is going to show up tonight with an announcement of his own? Maybe to try and outdo Bischoff to prove he deserves the job more?
