Steiner is going to DESTORY Jericho next week and then get squashed by HHH at N.W.O never to be seen again. So, basically yes, in the long run Steiner is getting buried but not before making Jericho look like a fool and main eventing another PPV all for the purpose of making HHH look stronger. Yey.

RVD - Dude....that fall from the apron to the mat must have knocked me unconscious. Uh....what's this blood stain doing in the ring ? What'd I miss ? Man...maybe one day I can be as great as the almighty Kane or Scott Steiner to make the beatdown save. Well, aside from Jericho locking the Walls of Jericho on Steiner, the Raw creative team for some stupid reason seems to think that re-creating the McMahon-Helmsley Facgime/DX beatdowns every week from 1999-2000 = ratings.

Here's what happens: Jericho wins the #1 contendership next week when he beats Steiner with the Walls. Clean. He goes on to face HHH at NWO and beats HIM clean with the Walls. He enters a fued with Booker T or RVD and battles one of the two at WM. Jericho wins the title back at some point, but delivers a promo stating the belt is bullshit and was made solely to stroke HHH's ego and compensate for his small dick. Jericho, RVD, BookDust, Hurricane, Orton and Nowinski all move to Smackdown. Smackdown's ratings increase ten fold. RAW is HHH gets cancelled as he goes over everyone remaining on the roster at least 3 times. HHH is fired. Steph steps down as a writer. And the first case of a person actually shitting dollar bills is reported. Yup. That's how it's gonna end. Yup. No other possible path.

Guest bcu1979 Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Another episode of Triple H pretends he's Ric Flair circa 1989 is in the books and they seem to have accomplised all their goals: - put over Triple H as the star of the show again - portray Triple H as the smartest wrestler in the company - make sure everyone knows that HHH's group is just a vehicle to get him over - put over Shawn Michaels at the expense of younger talent - keep Booker T in the midcard (jerking the curtain against Jeff Hardy and never seen again) - bury TE kids (yeah, nothing like spitting in the face of all the fans who watched TE and rooted for John and Matt so you can play some inside jokes. After all, it's their fault Triple H is not over.) - bury Kane (who wouldn't root for a babyface who runs off like a pussy) - bury RVD (jobbing clean to the green roid monster Batista. pure bullshit) - bury Jericho (He could have turned face off the Stacy angle. Or he could have come off like a big heel for not caring. Instead, they make him play the goofy midcard heel again. And boy it really puts over Jericho and Christian to have them get beat up by Michaels in a 2 on 1 situation. I also love how Jericho always gets placed in matches where Triple H wants him to win because he'd rather wrestle Jericho in a match than someone else.) I guess I should be happy Jericho got to come back in the ring at the end so J.R. could hype his ass kicking next week. I thought he had disappeared into that mysterious black hole for midcarders like RVD did after the match. The SOH promos are awesome though. He doesn't even need to wrestle. Just have him cut promos every week. And Jazz's beatdown of Trish was 10 times better than either of HHHoresman's beatdowns of Scott Steiner.

It was only one shot to wake them up, as opposed to a beatdown. actually, I think it was more of a "we're gonna have you guys injured so that you can go down to OVW and work on your skills" segment
