Victoria/Jazz Feud...

But heel/heel matches suck the heat out of the crowd. They don't know who to cheer or boo. In face/face matches they just pop for both.

And I want to see a Victoria/Jazz feud just to see Jazz smack Stevie around. I can picture him interfering and her smacking him and him screaming in a high pitched girls voice.

And thank god the Victoria/Trish feud ended. And it didn't end like other Trish/Women feuds. You know like Trish/Molly or Trish/Jazz. Evil woman beats on Trish for a while and then at the PPV Trish manages to overcome. At the next PPV the evil jezabel wins and goes on a reign of terror ended by Trish a few weeks later.

Yeah, well, I don't put too much stock in the crowd. Having a few heel/heel matches won't bring business down or anything. It would just give more of a sports feel. Even friends compete against each others. And heels should only ally to gain power. I'm more interested in good matches than who is the heel and who is the face.

Yes, the feud would be pretty good, but when they do it, I hope they don't build the feud around fighting over Stevie Freakin' Richards. Two chicks fighting over a guy is way too cliched.

I don't think it's cliched in wrestling, though. I can't remember one instance of this type of feud. If they could get creative and develop all three characters beyond psycho, violent psycho and violent bitch, I'd like to see it.

True, but it just reeks of Jerry Springer and just about every soap opera you can think of. If & when they feud, I'd rather the focus be on the title and a theme like Jazz fighting to prove she still has what it takes to be the champ, as opposed to "You stole my man!!".

 

I like Stevie Richards as much as anyone (especially since he's a Fire Pro fan), but I have a feeling that the audience would end up saying, "why are they fighting over HIM?" He's pretty much hanger-on material. Why would they cheer for one woman over the other? I just think the crowd would be more interested in the kind of feud I described in my previous post.

 

They should definitely bring up Jazz & Stevie's previous relationship, though, because it adds that much more heat to the feud. It just shouldn't be the main reason they're fighting. And yeah, Jazz throwing Stevie around, STF'ing him, and hearing him screaming in pain would be pretty fun.

It certainly won't bring business up, though. The women's division struggles to get heat as it is. Who wants to see a match with no crowd reaction? Jazz could get Chyna-style face pops if pushed the right way, so they should at least try to build a feud where you WANT to see Victoria & Stevie get their asses kicked.
