Who would you like to meet?

Recommended Posts

Guest EQ

This was inspired by the Seinfeld thread. Basically, if you could meet anyone (alive or dead) who would it be and why?

My girlfriend's mother. My girlfriend hates her mom, and says she's the most idiotic bitch she's ever known, but I'd still like to meet her one day, if only so I could congratulate her on what a fine girl she had.

Nice post Agnes...right now...alive...easy as all hell...Carmen Electra.

Actually, on second thought, it's either her, TSA, or Gary Coleman, because I wanna see how far I can toss him...

It'd depend how drunk I was. I have three heroes, which you know, AWK, Morrissey and SATURN. Now, if I was drunk it'd be AWK, cos he's probably the most fun out of those three by quite a long way. Morrissey I guess isn't a people person, and saturn would probably just end up kicking my ass for making him look bad, so it'll have to be AWK. Or Paul Leary from the butthole surfers, he seems like a hell of a guy. He posts on their board all the time. I did actually VERY NEARLY meet Mr. WK, but the line was several hundred people too long. And if we'd stayed in the queue, we'd have met muse instead. And been subsequently arrested.

I wanted to meet Uncle Kracker really bad. I had a thing for him as gross as that may sound to...yeah probably everyone.

Well like Rob my first answer would be Jesus, but then I already have fellowship with Him through the Spirit and I'll see him physically one day so He's a given.

Moving on:

I'd like to meet Cobain. Just to chat with him about being an artist, and if I could, to warn him about what was coming and maybe tell him about some important things.

I'd like to meet Foley. And Austin. And Benoit.

And Baz Lurhman and Craig Pearce. I think I'd have fun discussing storytelling with those two.

Any of the Kids in the Hall. They were/are a huge influence on me comedically (especially Dave Foley) and I would love to talk to them and figure out what that secret comedy intangible is that they have.

Phil Hartman is another one as he just seemed remarkably down to earth for someone who was as talented as he was as well as the fame he gained the older he got.

That Urkel thing made me spit out my Coke I was laughing so hard. Well done!

Television/Movies - Phil Hartman, Jerry Seinfeld. And for ultimately creating and ruining my childhood at the same time, Paul Reubens.

Music: Bob Marley.

Sports: Jerry Krause, just so I can take out my aggression on him for ruining a dynasty. If I have time after that, Tony Kornheiser, because his cynicism displayed in his published writings have hurt my sides, many a time.

Wrestling - Mick Foley, Vince McMahon, Hogan.
