Test > A-Train, the middle two are a wash, and Angle > Benoit. Definitely 12A.

Group A

Test

Rosey

Rikishi

Angle

Group B

A-Train

Jamal

Bill Demott

Benoit

Three shit and one good one both sides, so i'll go 12A, Angle over Benoit. Though i prefer DeMott over the fat samoans and Hair-Train.

Test > A-Train

No he's not.

Ugh, I have to go with A. But Test is my primo Jobber, wears an "I'm the jobber shirt" has "I'm the Jobber" music, and gets pinned by anyone willing to pay 20 bucks.

12B. Jamal & Rosie are the same to me. But A-Train & DeMott are clearly better than Test & Rikishi. I would probably rather have Angle than Benoit if I had to choose, but it is really too close to make much of a difference. I would have to turn one of A-Train or DeMott face though. DeMott did pretty well as a face in 2000, so I would probably pick him. Plus he should get Tough Enough sympathy heat after the Rocco Rock thing.

OOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Damn, that's hard.

Group A.

Hogan's lack of wrestling skills are the only thing sperating the two, IMO.

shit shit shit.....

Austin (1997) = wasn't APESHIT over until early 98

Rock (1999) = best in the business

Angle (current) = great talent held down by lack of opposing talent

Benoit = great wrestler, hard time getting over

Hogan (1985) = huge, but didn't have ALL the fans behind him at this point

Flair (1989) = supurb matches, but lacked platform (WWF) to get noticed

Savage (1989) = top of his game, over as hell

Steamboat (1989) = see: Flair

I'll take group B

He was having better matches in '97, that was the only reason I picked it over '98.

Fuck, I meant 1987!!!

I have to go with Group B. I personally would like Group A better. But having Flair & Hogan in their primes is just too good to pass up. Hogan could have great matches with all three of these guys after his prime (he did so with Flair & Savage, and I do not doubt he would with Steamboat). This is tough, but I have to go with Group B.

Hard...I'd say they are equal

Austin=Savage

Rock=Hogan

Angle=Flair

Benoit=Steamboat...

Pretty identical in drawing power...In Group A, All have wrestled each other at one point and hit ****. Same goes for Group B save for Hogan/Steamboat...

The edge has to go with Group A.

My turn!

Group A:

Steve Austin (still has the neck injury, but healthy)

Chris Benoit

Rikishi

Randy Orton

Group B:

Hulk Hogan (Old, retiring in months)

Bret Hart (No stroke, no concussions. Ring-ready)

Rob Van Dam

Chris Nowinski

It may sound awfully one-sided at first, but consider that Group B will be down a guy soon.

I have to go with B just because i hate Rikishi as much as anyone on the active roster. It is actually pretty close though.

13B just because all of them could draw huge. And 14B because having an old Hogan for only a few months is WAY better than having Rikishi, period.

What the hell ever happened to 2000 Rikishi? That guy could go when he wanted to.

13A. Bret is still old, so it would be no different than the rest of the nostalgia trip. Nobody wants to see Bret in the ring again, they just want to see Bret get a better send off, and farewell interview/clubbing of McMahon. Basically, we've got the best wrestler in the world today, a fat Samoan who pops the crowd, an up and comer that I would say has more potential than Nowinski with the right gimmick, and the greatest wrestler in WWF history who had an awesome 2001 and can still go if motivated vs. two cripples that can pop the crowd, a spot artist with little upside, and a rookie on par or a bit worse than Orton. This is probably the easiest choice out there. I would take Austin & Benoit alone over the other 4.

That makes me wonder, could Steamboat have carried Hogan to a **** match in 1989 or so?

I am sure that if Savage could...Steamboat whom I consider just a notch below Savage could just as well.

I like Jamie Noble and Matt Hardy but they are about equal with Christian and Lance Storm and Regal and Nunzio are similar as well. For me the big difference is Sean O'haire and Nathan Jones, Sean O'hair, at this point has the better character and is far better in the ring from all reports.

Have to go with group A.

Group A, Hogan and Hart are too old, RVD isn't that good, and Nowinski is green and in a gimmick that will go stale if it hasn't already. Austin is still great when he's on and Benoit's the best in the ring there is. Rikishi sucks but he pops the crowd, and Orton is basically = Nowinski, so those two cancel each other out.

I'll go with B. Storm and Regal are boring as shit in the ring lately, Christian relys too much on restholds and reverse DDT's, and O'Haire may have a cool character, but he isn't very good in the ring.

With B, Mattitude is a cool gimmick and he's decent in the ring, Noble is a mini-Benoit, Nunzio's good in the ring, and Nathan Jones is the same as O'Haire, cool gimmick but not good in the ring. Jones and O'Haire cancel, so I'll take Matt, Noble and Nunzio over Christian and the Commenwealth Connection.

Group B

Matt Hardy: Could get over easy and is solid in the ring.

Jamie Noble: See Matt Hardy

Nunzio: Great worker and could get over with an FBI type character

Nathan Jones: Could get over if just kept to vignettes with a manager to speak for him(A Bobby Heenan or somebody). Ring work would suck but the other three could make up for it.
