Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted February 6, 2003 So Turning Heel will throw your fanbase away unless your Dewayne Johnson. Uhm.. I got footage of Disney Tapings that happened less than a month after Hogan turned heel where there were a guy had a sign that said "EVIL HOGAN RULES." Ol' Terry B was so tired with his usual act in 96 I think the reason Hollywood worked is because fans were STILL interested in the guy, they were just booing and jeering at him while he was doing... Well.... The same moves and stuff he was doing before, but with more Air Guitar.
Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2003 How come people always asscociate and wish for Raven/Hardy to be together? Because they're "strange" and "bizarre".....that and they're both goth. And don't forget the face makeup.... The type of fans Jeff Hardy has are those teenage girls. And they will leave if he turns heel. He also has quite a few guy fans, for obvious reasons. As for leaving? Not all teenage fangrils are dumb marks, you know.
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted February 6, 2003 Well everyone will always have SOME fans. You can't hold off a heel turn because some bland face has 50 loyal fans.
Guest Lil Naitch Report post Posted February 8, 2003 Who cares? He's getting the crap kicked out of him, and baby, that's entertainment!
Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted February 8, 2003 Anyone think the only point of having Hardy out there this week was so HBK could get some camera time? I really wish HBK would just go home. Didn't he only want to come out of retirement so his son could see him wrestle? He's done that. GO HOME! I really liked Shawn's wrestling, but that's all. Job him to Jericho ASAP or just forget the whole damn thing. And Jeff Hardy as the "next HBK?" Yeah, kinda like what they did with HHH--only use that in storylines a couple years after it was applicable. Jeff Hardy wasn't even THAT good when he was "good." Still... Who cares? He's getting the crap kicked out of him, and baby, that's entertainment! Yeah...
Guest Space_Cowboy Report post Posted February 8, 2003 The WWE will probably just drop his 'heel turn' soon enough anyway. It'll go on for a while longer, then they'll just ignore it ever happened and have him as a face again with no explanation like they do with most other midcarders. They can barely follow through storylines for important wrestlers, let alone a bum like Meth Party Hardy.
Guest TheHulkster Report post Posted February 8, 2003 Maybe they are grooming him to become a disciple of his brother. Seeing as how Matt's gimmick is a deranged cult leader, maybe they will eventually reveal that after watching his brother lose match after match and seeing him at his lowest point, his jealousy over his consistant popularity has driven him to manipulate his own brother to turn against the very men who are responsible for his recent misfortunes and the fans to do his bidding. I forgot though: They can't push Matt Hardy hard because "He's too small" or "He's not a good enough heel". TheHulkster: Ironically enough, fucking hates politics in wrestling.
