And he was actually pretty trim (for his standards, at least) back then.

Yoko was pretty scary - not for what he did to the developmental talent but what he did to the established guys.

1) just about killed Jim Duggan ... sent him out of the ring on a stretcher, coughing up blood

2) beat up my hero Bret Hart at the contract signing for WM 9

3) ate Randy Savage

4) ate Hulk Hogan

Back when with the 2 different undertakers angle and they had the different "sightings" of the undertaker all over the country, I thought he'd pop up in a dark room in the basement. I've said it before that shit was scary.

Same here. I remember one day I was trying to play Taker's theme song on my keyboard (quite badly) and *I SWEAR* the lights started flickering. I don't think I've run that fast since.

2) beat up my hero Bret Hart at the contract signing for WM 9

I was about 6 at that time and I nearly cried when I saw that happen. Bret was always my favorite and anybody who fought against him was evil in my eyes.

I second that.

I have nightmares of Diesel's WWF Title run to this day.

Seriously, the only thing that I ever truly believed that wasn't a legit injury was the Shawn Michaels collapse against Owen Hart the day after Survivor Series 1995. I just thought that Michaels had tried to comeback to soon, and after wrestling pretty much the entire match for his team at Survivor Series. I knew it wasn't the enziguri that did it, but I did think that was legit until I heard it from Scott Keith in 1997.

Back in early '93 when Doink pulled out a fake arm and started beating Crush with it.

Early Undertaker scared the fuck out of me, especially the Funeral Parlor segments. Creepy, creepy shit.

On the other hand, when Jake Roberts locked Taker's hand in the casket, that also creeped me out, because Taker just kept walking with a gigantic casket attached to his arm.

Owen Hart dying scared me, as did the montreal screwjob, Messiah getting his thumb cut off, and a few other moments.

Mostly they scared me because i am set to start training (for wrestling) in about 3 months, and those things showed the bad side of the wrestling industry.

I'm trying to use things like to that to convince my friend to quit his wrestling training. If he finishes training, he'll make it big time, for sure... I'm terrified that he'll die young or something equally awful will happen to him.

Of course, I guess it isn't my place to crush his dream, but still.

It wasn't exactly scary, but the Goldust/Razor feud was mind blowing for me, and I was almost convinced it had to be for real because of the mature subject matter. I was around 11 at the time, and knew of homosexuality for years, but never actually witnessed a portrayal of a gay man before. The whole concept of sex was quite intimidating at the time, and then to have Goldust thrown in the mix...

Goldust was one of my first "experiences" with the homosexual lifestyle. Didn't Dust even call Scott by his real name during the feud? I always thought it would be cool if Taker and Dust would have feuded. Imagine Dust humping a casket and raping Paul Bearer.

Papa Shango was evil. The things he did; making "goo" come out of the Ultimate Warrior's head, and (I think) setting people on fire were pretty retarded.

But God damn his look was just really really scary.

Not necessarily scary, but what sent shivers up my spine, was when Shane Douglas was feuding with The Pit Bulls in ECW. Pit Bull #1 had injured his neck, and was wearing a halo for a few months. One night, while seconding PB #2, #1 got in the ring and threw a towel in Shane's face. Shane reached out, grabbed the halo, and started jarring Pit Bull #1 from side to side. I was in pure shock when I saw that.

I remember watching WCW/NWA Saturday Night in the late 80s on TBS and the Road Warriors did a massive beatdown on Dusty Rhodes. I wasn't a Rhodes fan by any means, mind you, but when one of the Road Warriors pulled a spike off his shoulder pads and started stabbing Dusty in the EYE, causing massive amounts of blood, I freaked.

This wasn't something a six-year-old would enjoy at all.

I didn't watch wrestling hardly at all again for almost two years after that.

Papa Shango still scares me!

Kind of off the subject, but with all the Undertaker talk.... remember in between RR 94 and SS 94 when they would have "Undertaker sightings"? I remember being in 3rd grade and thinking I saw the Undertaker walking in the woods in the distance :) lol

I remember that. Douglas got HUGE heel heat for that. Then Joel Gertner kept trying to announce the winner during all the chaos of trying to get Douglas out of the ring and get Pitbull in the ambulance, until finally Tod Gordon and Paul Heyman attacked him.

Like I've said 1,000 times before, my first Monday Night Raw I ever watched was the Pillman/Austin gun incident and I was scared SHITLESS. It scared me so much that I had to watch Raw again the next week...and the week after that, and you get the picture.

I always watched Superstars beforehand, but after that I was so scared out of my mind I had to watch Raw all the time.

The short version.

Messiah used to work for XPW. XPW is owned by Rob Black, who makes porn. Rob Black is married to Lizzy Borden, a porn star/director. Messiah banged Lizzy and was fired because of it. Messiah denies bonking Lizzy. Messiah works various indys, including CZW and EPIC. At EPIC, New Jack cuts a promo, mentions that Messiah bonked Lizzy, and Messiah makes some kind of statement that basically admits he bonked Lizzy. Later, Messiah is attacked in his home by two thugs, who cut off his right thumb with garden shears, try to take his left thumb, try to take his PENIS, and smash a fishtank over his head. Messiah is out for a while, but returns at CZW's Tournament of Death.
