They found something for him to do after that, but he's getting squashed in under a minute and I wouldn't be surprised if he's gone before the summer.

However, he has a good role here putting Matt over without actually having any credibility himself. I would hold off the breakup. When Dibiase broke up with Virgil, both guys were worse off. Dibiase was enough of a name to have success in the tag division, but Virgil was finished after he jobbed the Million Dollar Belt back to Dibiase on Survivor Series Showdown (or whatever the hell they were calling it in 1991).

Put it in perspective: He's not good, but he's as old as the new Tough Enoughers, and he's he's a lot more experienced than they are. Need to see how much better he gets over the next five years to really judge him though.

Guest Brian Posted February 10, 2003 Report Posted February 10, 2003 Moore's always been a good flyer and bumper who's never really been put in a position to get better at the rest of his game. He's carryable in that he'll work a story if it's in the match but in a spotfest he'll just break out.

With the exception of his minute-long squash against Albert last week (which I don't think anyone will even remember due to Spanky's involvement), hasn't Shannon been getting more TV time and storyline focus than most? All his losses are meant to get HIM over, not the victors.

Guest Jobber of the Week Posted February 10, 2003 Report Posted February 10, 2003 I kind of wish Shannon/Matt would tag team to give Los Guererros and Team Angle something to work with, but I realize the inherant danger of accidentally creating Hardy Boys Mark Two and once again pingeonholing Matt as a tag wrestler. I guess if a smaller spotlight singles run is the way things go, so be it. Moore only has so many single matches left before people realize he's not a great worker right now and the heat dies. And he's going to have to inevitably turn on Matt anyway, which gives Matt the oppertunity to find a new MFer and stick someone else into this.
