Guest Mattdotcom Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 Did Benoit ever come out to that trumpet riff at the beginning? If so...OMG WTF/!/1/? *Downloads Jericho's WCW Heel Theme* GO JERICHO GO!
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 Damn lances ECW theme great. Why not use it now, Zombie lets edge use his music so I am sure Lance could. Rob Zombie sings Edge's theme. White Zombie sings Lance Storm's theme. Considering there's only a 2-member difference (Sean Yseult and J of White Zombie were booted for Blasko and Riggs), and Rob wrote/writes all of the songs anyways, it doesn't really matter.
Guest Karnage Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 The Demon came out to KISS music (obviously).
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 Yes he did. "God Of Thunder," to be more precise. Also, am I the ONLY person that didn't mind Dale Torbourg?
Guest Stunt Granny Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 I found a PERFECT~! quality Chris Jericho WCW heel theme off of Kazza.
Guest HartFan86 Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 Chris Benoit's theme song was stolen off of SOMETHING...I can't remember the name of the band, or the song itself, but it's some song that, when you hear the real version, you'll think "They picked THIS for Benoit?" Muh gawd. The song is called "Replica". It's so freakin' ghey and it's completely *wrong* for Benoit. Of course, without the lyrics, it was fine. You can download it (minus lyrics, sadly) from Cyclone2K. And you should try finding the version w/ lyrics. It was actually used in a porn flick, just like Rockhouse (nWo theme).
Guest T®ITEC Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 Yikes. ...Now THERE'S a porno worth watching! ::thumbs up::
Guest RevEvil Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Brian Knobbs had a "My Sharona" knockoff. The Cat had a James Brown theme
Guest OnlyMe Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 My TSM debut! The nWo riff was stolen from Jimi Hendrix' Highway Child Hollywood Hulk Hogan used a rip off of Hendrix' Voodoo Chile
Guest crandamaniac Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 I thought it was the actual song he used
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 Yes, Hulk uses/used the actual song.
Guest Midnight Express83 Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 Goes to show the nWo was nothing more than Jimi Hendrix fans. As for The Cat, it was a mix of "The Big Payback" and "I'm Bad" as his theme. Chuck's theme was a rip off of Perfect's theme which was a ripoff Exidus I believe.
Guest HartFan86 Posted February 25, 2003 Report Posted February 25, 2003 It's not Voodoo Chile, people. Hulk Hogan uses Voodoo CHILD. C-H-I-L-D.
Guest OnlyMe Posted February 26, 2003 Report Posted February 26, 2003 No, he uses Voodoo Chile. Because that's what the song is called.
Guest converge241 Posted February 26, 2003 Report Posted February 26, 2003 "It was actually used in a porn flick, just like Rockhouse (nWo theme). " Arn Anderson and Benoits music were used all the time in Playboy and softcore movies Lugers music was also used all over the place (even by WWF sometimes in ads)
Guest HartFan86 Posted February 26, 2003 Report Posted February 26, 2003 No, he uses Voodoo Chile. Because that's what the song is called. LOL...it's called Voodoo CHILD. CHILD. CHILD. Search on the internet for VOODOO CHILD. It's even on the CD he has.
Guest treble charged Posted February 26, 2003 Report Posted February 26, 2003 Chuck's theme was a rip off of Perfect's theme which was a ripoff Exidus I believe. Wasn't that Stasiak? He was 'Perfect-Shawn' after all.
Guest goodhelmet Posted February 27, 2003 Report Posted February 27, 2003 No, he uses Voodoo Chile. Because that's what the song is called. LOL...it's called Voodoo CHILD. CHILD. CHILD. Search on the internet for VOODOO CHILD. It's even on the CD he has. No, the actual song title is called Voodoo Child (Slight Return). Hendrix DOES have a song called 'Voodoo Chile' on the Electric Ladyland album. But it's about 15 minutes long and not the version Hogan uses. So in short, it is easy to confuse the title but both of you may be right because after some hunting, and since Jimi's work has been thrown on more half-ass compilations and 'remixes' than any other artist in history, I am sure you could find a listing that would support either view. But in conclusion, according to my original Electric Ladyland vinyl album cover, the correct name for the Hogan theme song is Voodoo Child (Slight Return).
Guest OnlyMe Posted February 27, 2003 Report Posted February 27, 2003 Voodoo Child (Slight Return) has a different intro to the one used by Hogan.
Guest Karnage Posted February 28, 2003 Report Posted February 28, 2003 That Cylcone2K website is down! Are there any other wrestling theme sites as good as that one?
Guest HartFan86 Posted March 1, 2003 Report Posted March 1, 2003 Voodoo Child (Slight Return) has a different intro to the one used by Hogan. It's not different, they just cut it off.
