Guest pappajacks Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 I was surfing the net and I found an interesting site dedicated to Triple H. http://www.geocities.com/hhhkkknazi/index.html
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 You can't be serious. The Iron Cross isn't a symbol of hate, it was a Prussian and later German medal of honor for a LOOOOOOONG time before it got mixed up with the Nazis.
Guest Trivia247 Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 well I said a while back they were gambling with HHH's logo because it was looking like the old German Iron Cross. Though not created as a symbol of hatred...it IS Identified as such during WWI and WWII. I doubt people who faced Prussia in the 19 century was too happy seeing the Black Iron Cross neither. I wouldn't be surprised if there was Racial tendancies we never saw him in the past never really mixing wheither be in the ring or just traveling around with anyone not white... I doubt this is true with others of old Dx or Kliq. theres too many similarities and the WWE should at least do something about his logos. We can't really claim him a racist or not but its not something we could easily brush off as just HHHating.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 Yes we can, because the second shirt they show's back logo isn't the Iron Cross, but the Maltese one, which has ZERO negative connotations. It's really stupid for anyone to call him a racist just because he has a certain logo, which he designed himself (like many main eventers do). I mean, considering he's something of a metal fan the Iron Cross was a logical choice. EDIT: Not to mention that they're comparing his stuff to the Klan's crosses, not the Nazi ones. There IS a difference.
Guest netslob Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 come to think of it, i believe Hitler himself won the Iron Cross when he was a soldier for the German army in WW1. just a little factoid for y'all. also, the only real instance of racism that makes sense on that site are the DX-Nation parody, which has all of DX in black-face. i'm surprise HHH didn't drop to his knees and yell "MAMMY"!!
Guest Mik at Cornell Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 Well, to be honest I think it's a comedy site. Don't everyone get all bent up about it.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 Well, to be honest I think it's a comedy site. Don't everyone get all bent up about it. Yea, that's the impression I got too. They considered HHH wrestling The Rock a racist action because The Rock is half-black? Are they suggesting The Rock never wrestle any white guys? THAT'S racist.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 I know it's a joke site, but people taking it seriously is just awful. Not as bad as the Icey Hot Stuntaz, but still pretty bad.
bobobrazil1984 Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 Go look at the guestbook. The owner of the site explicitly states that its a joke site.
Guest art_vandelay Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 God damn, you guys are sad. It clearly says "This site was made for humor purposes only." on the main page. Anyone who didn't get that impression from looking at the content itself is, a joke.
Yuna_Firerose Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 You know, I sometimes think that HHH wouldn't have half as much heel heat if it wasn't for the 'net. He's the most hated of the net fans/smarks.....and yet people take the time to make joke sites about him, banners, rumors... (and I mean the rumors that aren't confirmed). Side note...the site doesn't work for me.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 It'd be funny if we E-mailed all of this to 1Bob. I'd LOVE to see it reported on 1wrestling that Trips was a rumored racist backstage. I'd laugh my ass off.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 HHH: "uhhhhh, now I'm going to wear my symbol of hate to the ring-uhhh. I hope no smarks pick up-uhhh on this." I thought that when I first saw it, I'm a little suprised no one bitched about it really...people will cry over anything these days. And the Icy Hot Stunnza are the shit!
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 The Iron Cross was a symbol of power for a LONG time before it was even identified as a Nazi symbol. Hell, it's not even a Nazi symbol. It's a PRUSSIAN symbol that represents power. Makes sense now, eh? And he probably just started using it because he's a huge Motörhead fan, and half of Motörhead's merchandise involve the Iron Cross.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 Well Hitler's dream was a tall, muscled blonde guy. OH MY GOD! HHH is the result of Nazi genetic experimentation!
Guest HartFan86 Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 This site is hilarious. "HHH against the black, defenseless Jon Coachman"
Guest netslob Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 Yea, that's the impression I got too. They considered HHH wrestling The Rock a racist action because The Rock is half-black? Are they suggesting The Rock never wrestle any white guys? THAT'S racist. yeah, really, following that logic, any white wrestler who EVER faced a black wrestler is a racist. This site is hilarious. "HHH against the black, defenseless Jon Coachman" please, EVERYBODY picks on Coach. i'll bet their are grips and gaffers who beat up Coach for his lunch money.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 Icy Hot Stuntaz = The Suck. I mean, the only good car they drive is that Firebird, which I doubt is even theirs.
