Guest Will Scarlet Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 Wow. They should have matches like that on Velocity more often. The crowd seemed to love it.
Yuna_Firerose Posted February 16, 2003 Author Report Posted February 16, 2003 Well, THAT woke the crowd up... ChrisTAIN~! In that Confidential intro...who jumps into the lake? Is that Matty?
Guest Trivia247 Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 Now they should do a Confidential Story on Curt Hennig...if they had a heart at all.
J.B. Buzzkill Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 Where was Nidia in all of this? Wouldn't she want to break the pinfall up? Steph's making her join Matt in his crash diet.
Guest HartFan86 Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 Just popping in the thread and letting everyone know this is a repeat and I won't be hear to do my insightful *cough* commentary on the show. So therefore, see you later guys.
Guest HartFan86 Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 By the way, this is the Confidential were they blame Bret Hart as one of the reasons WCW died. And I'm out.
Yuna_Firerose Posted February 16, 2003 Author Report Posted February 16, 2003 Aw, dammit, a repeat. Alright....I'd just like to say that Bischoff looks quite hot in a leather jacket. Okay, I'm outty.
Guest wwF1587 Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 man i saw the last minute of velocity and the guys on commentary sounded so excitted about SD! this week...i cant wait myself...
Guest CanadianChick Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 I thought this was a repeat...oh well. I get an Edge and Christian "Before They Were Superstars" segment. Never get enough of Edge...
Guest the pinjockey Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 And they open the show with not Hennig. Fuck you Vince.
Guest wwF1587 Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 i think i missed this one... i dont remember this one....
J.B. Buzzkill Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 Okerlund: "Those who don't remember the past are condemned to repeat it." Gee, I wonder who's doing that now?
Guest Will Scarlet Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 Darn. This is one of Confidential's I have already seen. Nice to see Velocity was okay this week with a pretty good main event, and a rare Shannon Moore victory. Too bad Funaki was squashed.
Guest wwF1587 Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 man they better do a salute to Henning next week
J.B. Buzzkill Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 man they better do a salute to Henning next week Doubt it. They didn't do it on SD!
Guest wwF1587 Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 storylines thought up on the spur of a moment.... unnecessary money being spent.... wow... the wwe are right on track
Guest the pinjockey Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 I would rather them not do a tribute to Hennig now. Here is what would have been acceptable: Raw- Short video (30 sec-1 min) and 10 bell SD- Longer video (2-3 mins) and 10 bell Tonight- At least a 5 minute video By next week any tribute would just seem forced, like someone got in Vince's ear and told him that he should do it and if a tribute needs to be forced then fuck it Vince doesn't deserve to do one.
J.B. Buzzkill Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 He barely did a tribute to Lou Thesz, 1 of the legends of wrestling.
Guest wwF1587 Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 i think i will skip the "before they were superstars" segment with edge... i hate those segments as its always kinda boring to me....
Guest wwF1587 Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 wait a minute.... you mean E & C ARE NOT REAL LIFE BROTHERS!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! F U VINCE....
Guest HartFan86 Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 He barely did a tribute to Lou Thesz, 1 of the legends of wrestling. Thesz never worked for the company and I don't think was ever on good terms with them anyways...what would you expect if Goldberg died tommorow? You'd get the same deal. A brief graphic/video, but nothing big. Hennig worked for the company and is basically a big name everywhere...so they should definately do a video tribute for him.
Guest Choken One Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 I am sure they'll do something...Just not for Confidental because they already planned a Rerun...They wouldn't want to place it with some rehashed shit...Might as well give it a new episode...
Guest wwF1587 Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 did anyone notice on that letter it says to edge says i hope you become a WWE superstar... now if that was written a long time ago it should've been WWF.....
Guest wwF1587 Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 The year book has the same editting too... thats pathetic vince
Guest CanadianChick Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 They just put a line underneath the F to make it an E to avoid lawsuits or some BS like that..
Yuna_Firerose Posted February 16, 2003 Author Report Posted February 16, 2003 They showed this Before They Were Superstars before the name change, so that letter isn't an add-on, in case you were wondering.
Guest Choken One Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 Exactly...They are just trying to have another reason to say "Damn U Vince".
Guest Nevermortal Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 I mark for the Casa La Book.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 "Wake up Stevie, the WWE cameras are here"
Yuna_Firerose Posted February 16, 2003 Author Report Posted February 16, 2003 "Wake up Stevie, the WWE cameras are here"
