Guest Lightning Flik Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Shall we move on to knees? That's a fun list as well. When you combine neck injuries with knee injuries, one might think there is something wrong with the ring. AS let's NOT talk about knee injuries? Alright. Let's not go there.
Guest Anglesault Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Never mind. Lita got it being a stupid bitch, Benoit went through a table and Sparky got what he had coming to him. But my knee theory still stands.

But my knee theory still stands. Actually, I didn't want you to make a list because a) You'd get about half the roster of WWE on there. As I remember everyone complaining about their knees. b) You'd remind me of my own knee problems.
Guest Anglesault Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Sorry, I was just correcting myself. I wasn't referring to your post.
Guest bravesfan Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Meltzer contradicted himself with his reports. Minor surgery which will take 12 months to fully heal from? Minor surgery, out of the front of the neck, which is what Edge is going under, does not take one full year to rehabilitate from. Major surgery, including Austin, Lita, Benoit, Holly and Rhyno (though his was much worse beyond that) have/will take anywhere from 12-16 months to properly heal from and wrestle at a full schedule.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Sorry, I was just correcting myself. I wasn't referring to your post. Oh. Whoops. My bad then, AS. Sorry. Just trying to explain myself as I thought you were going to announce the knee injuries.
Guest bob_barron Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 I think maybe Meltzer screwed up- we'll see I guess
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 How did this happen in the first place? Who's Guilty? As far as I know, he's only been working with Albert and Team Angle?
Guest El Satanico Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 We don't know that anyone is responsible for his injury. Not all injuries happen because of one certian thing.
Guest Rob Edwards Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 By Wade Keller, Torch editor Feb 20, 2003, 3:50 pm Edge's neck injury is serious enough that he will need surgery and could miss around a year of in-ring action as a result. He may participate in Sunday's PPV match in a limited capacity before getting surgery from Dr. Lloyd Youngblood Torch is going with a year
Guest Quik Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 The cause of all these fucking injuries is Vince telling everyone what they can't do before they get in the ring. If you have to second-guess every move in a match, you can't loosen up, relax and sort of "flow". Maybe if Vince let his employees wrestle instead of "Stomp-punch-kick-kick-punch-clothesline", they wouldn't fuck up the one time they have to take a semi-serious bump.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 I think I am in the camp of those who'd rather see Eddy be the replacement instead of the jobber who's only being considered because Heyman guzzles his cock. Seriously, why the hell should Rhyno come back in the main event when he's not even a partially big name? I mean, you'd have to be really fucking stupid to actually consider something like that, but then again, we ARE talking about Heyman and the SD! booking team...

He'll probably be the first person out of the match anyways. Besides, I'd rather they bring back Rhyno this way then have him get decimated by Taker.
Guest CanadianChick Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 He'll probably be the first person out of the match anyways I don't think the 6-man tag is elimination.
Guest bob_barron Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 Rey is wrestling on Heat this Sunday according to MC and Tazz. So I don't think he'll replace Edge
Guest Lightning Flik Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 He'll probably be the first person out of the match anyways I don't think the 6-man tag is elimination. I meant more "out of the action". Like out of breath or knocked out.
Guest Brian Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 Rhyno vs. Angle as Angle's placeholder feud is the way to go. The cause of the injuries is environment. There's pressure to take steroids, the ropes are not good on the knees and your taking bumps on your knees, back, and neck four times a week.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 Besides, I'd rather they bring back Rhyno this way then have him get decimated by Taker. If that happens, Taker, Vince, Steph, etc., will Die!
Guest tpww7 Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 Rey's on Heat? Who the hell is he facing?
Guest HartFan86 Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 Just heard the news about Edge....very sad to hear that he won't be at Wrestlemania. He deserved to have a big match considering he busted his ass all of 2002.
Guest humongous2002 Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 Trade RVD for Edge, problem solved.

Guest humongous2002 Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 Because Rhyno sucks.Simple answer.
Guest CanadianChick Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 Trade RVD for Edge, problem solved. I guess I missed something, but what problem?
Guest Anglesault Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 Trade RVD for Edge, problem solved. I guess I missed something, but what problem? EXACTLY!
Guest humongous2002 Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 Well i thought since Edge being out with his neck surgery they need someone to replace him at No Way Out, hence the problem.

Dames It's because people keep singing his praises when he's never shown anything remotely close to be a decent wrestler outside of a garbage enviroment(a la Raven). Only reason he ever got on in ECW was because he piledrove people off of ring aprons onto tables on the floor, big fucking whoop. I guess my problem isn't with Rhyno himself, but with hoop-la he gets for being a below average worker. Plus, the Heyman Blowjob Push from Hell didn't score any points for him in my book, either.
Guest bob_barron Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 I never watched ECW but I'm a BIG Rhyno fan. I know he isn't God gifts to workers but he's always capable of putting on a good match and has an awesome finisher

Very, very similar to how I feel about Brock. I don't know, I just always liked Rhyno and enjoyed his matches.
