Guest Sakura Report post Posted March 19, 2002 Normally I do not jump on the "HHH and Steph hog the spotlight and are booking everything that sucks" bandwagon, but that match for next RAW is absolutely horrible. No one wants to see Stephanie wrestle and all that's going to do is make Jericho look even worse. I have no problem with Vince wrestling now and then but Stephanie is a woman and not even a female wrestler, she has no place in a title match. Just sad. Am I the only one who wasn't that impressed by Lesnar? The power moves were cool but the guy looks like a big dork. I felt the same way about O'Haire, the goofy "Jesus, I'm so fucking intense, look at me I'm a monster" looks and poses he made are so hokey, even for pro-wrestling. Guest KoR Fungus Report post Posted March 19, 2002 What don't you understand BPS? HHH was over when he won the Rumble and in his first little confrontation with Angle. It was after the Jericho promo became cemnted that he began to lose his heat. That was partially Jericho's fault. And enlighten me on this new word, "ludecirous." HHH was over when he came back. Everyone marked out for him when he came back. Then they saw his horrible work, they heard his horrible promos and he quickly lost his heat. The reason he was over when he won the Rumble is because that was near the time of his return, and the fans had yet to realize the full extent of his suckiness. He had lost almost all of his face heat before he got involved with Jericho. His matches against Angle at NWO and the Raw thereafter were pretty #### heatless given that they were for a title shot at WM, and it's impossible to blame Jericho for that. ####, even his promo right after the RR got less heat than RVD's entrance, and that was long before Jericho was even in the picture. Guest Army Eye Report post Posted March 19, 2002 no bossman did have heat....call it bossman heat x-pac heat get the fuck off my tv heat...its still heat, and its not the kind of heat you want if your a heel. Are you trying to say jericho is leeching of stephs "bossman heat"???? No, they were saying that HHH is getting cheap heat by opposing Stephanie, but then Stephaine doesn't really have heel heat, it's 'Bossman heat'. Makes no sense, but it's a confusing world that the 'Bossman heat' advocates live in.
Guest Report post Posted March 19, 2002 Well, it's obvious that the people who have something against HHH will not admit that he does get large pops. His pops are up there with the other four major faces; Rock/Austin/Hogan/RVD. Sadly, no one wants to admit to this. Jericho was the second most over heel in the company until the NWO came in, but that was only because most of the other heels were booked even weaker than he (Booker T. anyone). Jericho got good heat for a mid/upper mid card heel, but not good enough to be the first ever undisputed champion. Those belts should have made him, yet he has nearly ruined them, though most of it is not his fault.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted March 19, 2002 #1...how is RVD a major face? #2...what big pops are you referring too? #3...Since Best Buy was kind enough to open a new thread...let's move the conversation over to it.
Guest KoR Fungus Report post Posted March 19, 2002 Am I the only one who wasn't that impressed by Lesnar? The power moves were cool but the guy looks like a big dork. I felt the same way about O'Haire, the goofy "Jesus, I'm so fucking intense, look at me I'm a monster" looks and poses he made are so hokey, even for pro-wrestling. Heh I agree that his looks were goofy, but I still was impressed by his debut just because his power moves were so awesome. The WWF has no power wrestlers now that I actually like to watch, so maybe he can change that. It looked like he moved pretty well too, so I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do. Plus he did Bryan's 2+4 throw on Maven, I had to mark for that!
Guest Report post Posted March 19, 2002 Can't we all just watch HHH tapes from 2000 and get along? 2000: "From Greenwich, Connecticut, weighing 260 pounds..." 2002: "From Greenwich, Connecticut, weighing 272 pounds..." I think I'll apply for the job of "Guy who spray-paints HHH's shirts on him every week because he can't fit into any of them." Couldn't he wear one of the belts at least? Raw: **** for the opening segment, Brock, Heyman returning, a non-Steph way of splitting the company, and Voodoo Child!
Guest cabbageboy Report post Posted March 19, 2002 I am amused that everyone said that "Steph is winning the titles." God, do you honestly think that they would do something that fucking stupid? Yeah they have done dumb stuff, but after throwing the stip of Steph's banishment out there they have to go through with it. The way she was buried throughout the show by Flair and then by HHH suggests that they get the message about her. I have been awaiting Brock Lesnar's debut and glad Heyman will lead him, since the big dude probably has no mic skills. I've seen him in dark matches before and he did a shooting star press across the ring! What the ####, have Heyman target RVD with this mofo saying RVD "was too selfish and caused the downfall of the Alliance" or some crap. Ironically that might be the truth. Hogan baby. Time to turn little Rocky boy heel.
Guest Sakura Report post Posted March 19, 2002 Plus he did Bryan's 2+4 throw on Maven, I had to mark for that! Yeah! I didn't even think of that until now. You know what would get Brock over? Doing Bryan's "DIE!" win pose after matches.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted March 19, 2002 um...targeting RVD I like. Blaming him for the Alliance failure...not so much. How would that be the truth? He was the only thing that people wanted to see in the Alliance... By that logic...Hogan is to blame for the NWO failure. Because he was getting cheered when he was supposed to be the heel, just like RVD and the alliance. Neither one of those is true.

He destroyed O'Haire, Palumbo, Booker, DDP & Kanyon. Those could have been some of WCW's top players.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted March 19, 2002 The real question isn't "how could we think that Stephanie will win the titles". The real question is "why shouldn't we think that Stephanie will win the titles". I mean honestly what has WWF done to show us that they wouldn't think of doing it? If Vince will put the belt on himself without a second thought anyone could win it. Would it ever happen with Vince around? No probably not but don't be foolish enough to think it could never happen. Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted March 19, 2002 I can see blaming RVD working as an angle...but saying that it's probably true... Well...I've never heard that one before. But I do have to wonder...if RVD had the power to book himself as a face which caused the alliance to fail...why did he bury himself for 3 months?
Guest KoR Fungus Report post Posted March 19, 2002 Yeah! I didn't even think of that until now. You know what would get Brock over? Doing Bryan's "DIE!" win pose after matches. LoL yeah, have him squash some fan darlings like Tajiri and Scotty and then have him do that, he'd be a mega-heel in no time hehehe.
Guest Report post Posted March 19, 2002 Here is the worst case scenario... (Jericho and HHH are having an intense match, fortunately the HHH leg problem is ignored. Steph stays outside for obvious reasons, almost getting pulled in by HHH every now and then but being saved by Jericho. One thing leads to another, and Jericho and HHH end up clocking each other with chairs a la Last Man Standing 1999. Stephanie climbs into the ring, her face lights up, the crowd sees what is about to happen...) JR: Oh no, tell me she isn't... Lawler: JR! She's Daddy's Little Champ now! JR: Aw ####, this is awful! HHH went through #### to come back, rehabilitation and all, only to get pinned by his soon-to-be ex-wife! This is a new low! Lawler: Oh JR, you're just mad because HHH didn't win. Stephanie deserved the titles! JR: Oh wait, there's Kronik! Stephanie is giving each member a title belt! Just fill in the rest yourself.

Guest Zero_Cool Report post Posted March 19, 2002 With Triple H and Y2J down and out in the ring, Stephanie and her new found business celebrate like it's 1999. Stephanie jumps up and down in Clark's arms, as they celebrate in a sports movie fashion. Adams, meanwhile, combs his hair in a methodical manner, using the gleem off of the WWF Championship as a makeshift mirror. [JR] Kill me... [King] Puppies!! "OOHHHHH, WHAT A RUSH!!!" The flabbergasted crowd, silent from the screw-job they just witnessed, stay silent, as the old Legion of Doom theme blasts throughout the jam packed arena. Hawk, clad in spandex and one #### of a beergut, comes down to the ring with his no selling friend, Animal. [J.R] *blinks* Oh my gawd! The Legion of Doom is back in the WWF, and business has damned sure picked up!!" [King] Puppies!!..are no long bouncing. The disgruntled wrastlin' fans start to head towards the exits, almost running up the stairs. Back in the ring, the celebrating has come to an abrubt halt, as the three extremely hated villians look to their advisaries, who are making their way to the ring. Stephanie McMahon, with a scream, scurries out of the ring, but not before tripping over the limp torso of one Chris Jericho! She quickly tumbles to the mat, sliding along in her frictionless top. As she reaches the apron, the force is too much, and down comes her top! [King] Puppies!! The remaining merely groans when they see the billion dollar princess lose her top. While *desperately* trying to bring up her top, a man who is still in the front row, takes time to complain. [Random Dude] Bah...it's not like we haven't seem them before, you whore. The man then gets up, and after hawking a loogy, walks towards the exit. Stephanie finally gets her top back on, which only took her a grand total of twenty-seven seconds!! [J.R] Uhm...look at Hawk! He's over there, away from that jezebel..hmm, hm, hey.. Halfway down the ramp now, the LOD continue stalking, somehow finding a way to take up this much time to make their way to the ring. After flipping off their spikey shoulder pads, the face painted duo sprint to the ring. [J.R] Here we go, King! Seeing the fearsome group charging the ring, Bryan Adams thinks fast, and whips out a bottle of styling gel from his new hair utility belt, which, on the buckle, is initialed "BA". After giving himself that "just out of the shower" look, Adams joins his parter in crime. With Triple H and Jericho still on the mat, along with the betls, the ring is one big minefield. [schiavone] This is the biggest night in the history of Raw! [J.R] Why are you here? [TS] This must be the best cross-up of information ever! This is the greatest run-in ever!! [J.R] Why are you still talking? After they get in the ring, Hawk pairs off with Adams, as Clark clashes with Animal. By now, the arena looks an awful lot like the empty arena match from Halftime Heat 99. Hawk, in the corner with Adams, goes all Jet Li, throwing wild haymakers in the general direction of Adams. The man also known as Crush goes all Neo, dodging the punches like a champ, for fear that a solid shot could damage his roots..his livelyhood. [J.R] Wow, look at Adams! Finally, fed up and fucking tired, Hawk winds up his right leg, and kicks Adams directly in the scrotum. The big man quickly goes down, holding onto his (Crush)ed area. Over in the other brawling sector, Clark and Animal trade shots for a bit, until Animal hits a half punch, half clothesline..you could almost call it a clonch...yeah..Anyway, Clarks goes down. Using some kinda of energy source, adrenaline..or perhaps estrogen, Animal gets Clark onto his shoulders. He slowly walks the big man over towards Hawk, who climbs up the ropes at a speed that would make Hulk Hogan look like...Hulk Hogan! [King] Oh no! A Doomsday Device! BAM!! The two hit the move, and now down in the ring are Triple H, Jericho, Clark, and Adams...lying on the canvas are the tag titles, and Stephanie McMahon screams, pouts, and whimpers on the outside, perhaps wanting this whole event to end so she can get to the restroom. [J.R] The LOD has thwarted Stephanie McMahon's plans for tonight! The potbellied duo pick up the two loose, and forgotten Championship belts, and raise them high above their heads, to show the camera. However, we see their acne infested backs, as they have celebrated to the wrong side of the arena. A couple scattered fans in the lower bowl of the arena celebrate this victory for the men who have worked their asses of for 20 damned years to make it to the top of the wrestling world!! [J.R] My gawd. What will Smackdown bring?!?! [King] .....Puppies!! I was bored, sue me.

Guest TheMikeSC Report post Posted March 19, 2002 Way I see it, between Hogan & Rock, Hogan is actually the lesser of the two evils. For me, Rock is the very epitome of Vince's "Sportz Entertainment", which is why I've grown to LOATHE him. I can't agree at all here. Hogan is FAR worse than Rock. Rock's offense actually LOOKS good---Hogan can't even pull off that. -=Mike
Guest TheMikeSC Report post Posted March 19, 2002 yeah mikeSC....im sure the fans saw hogan come out on the rampway and think "oh geez this guy puts on shitty matches lets not cheer him" jesus christ get off hogan's back....your not a wrestling fan if u cant understand why fans cheer hogan. Maybe your just an #######... I love this whole "You can't be a wrestling fan if you don't like Hogan" line of thinking. I'll remember this when you're griping about him in about 2 months. Forgive me for preferring to have younger guys who can actually deliver on the mic AND in the ring. -=Mike ...And, as always, anybody who has to resort to profanity isn't a terribly intelligent person
Guest TheMikeSC Report post Posted March 19, 2002 "This is an exciting venture for the World Wrestling federation..." And Linda, you are making me FEEL IT. He destroyed O'Haire, Palumbo, Booker, DDP & Kanyon. Those could have been some of WCW's top players. Well, in O'Haire's case, his fundamentals were weak. The man couldn't throw a punch or a chop to save his life (I STILL have flashbacks of a match from Thunder where Sean had to literally hop before every single chop he threw). O'Haire WILL be a huge draw IMO, but he definitely needs more seasoning. Palumbo---well, his burial is a good thing. Kane & UT's treatment of all involved, though, was absurd and counter-productive. If you want to build up younger guys for the future, you can't just have them get annihilated. And Kanyon CAN get over if a promotion will ever let him win a few matches. -=Mike ...Still amazed at how DDP's air time seems to have actually gone DOWN since he won the Euro Title.
