HHH hasn't gained enough credibility as a face to be thrown in a program with just anybody like the Rock is. Where as the Rock can lose to heatless jobbers like Lance Storm and come out unscathed, HHH can not feud with people who don't have any credibility or heat themselves. People need(ed) a reason to cheer HHH. Jericho was(is) not a good enough reason. The guy is just now getting over after being aligned with Steph. HHH needs a stronger heel presence to feud with, Jericho is geting there but the man is not ready. In turn, HHH's cred is being hurt because Jericho has/is getting the upper hand time and time again in the program.

Best Buy, there are 2 flaws in your argument: 1) the only reason Jericho isn't as over as he should be is because he's been booked as the weakest champion this side of Big Show, and has been overshadowed every step of the fucking way. They made STEPH the fucking focal point of the Wrestlemania angle. Jericho got screwed, plain and simple. 2) Trips doesn't need to get any more over. I don't care if he was gone 8 months, he doesn't need to get over, ESPECIALLY at the expense of guys like Jericho. This is why the glass ceiling rumor exists. Thinking like that.

Yeah, but at least in WCW the non-finish would be followed by a good old NWO beatdown or something. This was just.. nothing. How hugely disappointing. It's almost like they know they want to turn either Hogan or Rock but they haven't decided which one yet.
