Every now and then someone will ask about if steroids are used in Puroresu. Well this ought to help answer that question

No, even guys like Kawada have used roids before. There's a Tom Zenk article on the subject that floats through here from time to time that's an interesting read.

Kawada didn't use them as much, I think zenk said only on a couple of occasions. I don't think he even used them in Japan...he was talking about him while in Canada.

I'm sure that some, maybe most, puroresu wrestlers have used 'roids before, but the difference between them and, say Scott Steiner, is that they don't abuse them. Although I don't know if this is fact, I can assume that steroids are much like most drugs - absolutely fine in moderation, only becoming dangerous if you abuse them.
