I got it... this must be a MASTER PLOY by HHH. There are two reasons why and how HHH is doing this:

 

1) HHH requested that more food (Steph's favorite food) be available in meetings. Now that the catering has been expanded replete with Steph's favorite foods, HHH wants to make sure that Steph clogs her veins, putting her out to pasture. In the end, HHH will be the successor to VKM's throne, not Stephanie.

 

2) HHH has asked Stephanie to pack on the pounds especially around the buttocks area so he'll have more fat to grip on to when he's laying the smackdown on her.
