48 Hours for Hussein and Sons to leave the country. Not necessarily for military action to begin.

Don't forget his harem...

We shouldn't want Hussein to leave the country unless we know *exactly* where he's going. The last thing we need is for him to become even more popular in exile. Just kill him and get it over with.

Hussain is no Bin Laden, I don't see him hiding out in caves and leading terrorist factions against the US. No way he'd do that after living in all those cushy palaces for years, leading the high life. He's not exactly the most inspirational figure for militants to rally behind either.

45 nations are supporting the US in Iraq in one way or another. That's sounds like alot.

Like someone said on FoxNews. Call it Coalition of Freedom.

My favorite part? For the people that say we hurt Aghanistan more than we helped it, and I know that the list is apparently alphabetical, but THIS I love:

The countries in the coalition are:

Afghanistan, Albania, Australia, Azerbaijan, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Eritrea, Estonia, Ethiopia, Georgia, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Japan (post conflict), Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan.

I like that.

I doupt Saddam will be dead when this whole thing is over. I see Saddam and his sons either living somewhere else or being imprisoned. Not saying that SHOULD happen, just what I THINK will happen.

I don't want him dead. I want Saddam to get nailed, and nailed hard by the World Court. he can live the life then.

. . . as some guy's prison bitch.

I'd still rather see the Iraqi people rise up and sieze this opportunity and give him up.

Hussein will die of old age before the World Court gets around to putting him on trial.

Ever heard of the phrase "puppet government"?

(raises hand)

I have! I have!

Yes, because after we war with people we conquer them completely. We are brutes and controlling bastards, we of the United Empire of America.

Bah. The "Puppet Government" cry is bullshit, sez I. Why can't the government of Afghanistan make their own decision on whether to support us? Heaven forbid they be thankful we ran a controlling regime out of their country and have helped them get back on their feet.

You don't think they feel like maybe they owe us a little bit?

Also, outside of Kabul, the government has little control. It's all warlords and outlaw-controlled.

The same will happen here, except with Baghdad. Iraq could be a lawless hellhole for quite a few years. Then again, it's very advanced for a Muslim nation (women can, you know, have jobs. And don't have to hide all their skin) so maybe they can pull themselves together better.

Well, considering Bush went out of his way on Monday to tell Iraqis not to burn their oil fields and the word is whether Saddam leaves or not were bsuting down the doors.

And thankfulness robs them of the ability to make their own decisions? If they're that inept, they need new leaders.

U.S. State Department says 15 other unidentified countries also have pledged support.

He said military support.

Only three nations have pledged support in military ways, one of which will not engage in offensive battles (Australia)
