Guest Nevermortal Posted March 9, 2003 Report Posted March 9, 2003 This is mainly for one purpose, but I figure I should open up a thread for Indy themes.... Who has the coolest one? Which one sucks? Where I can find Low Ki's theme ? (SELF SERVING POSTS RULE!)
The Dames Posted March 9, 2003 Report Posted March 9, 2003 Low-Ki's theme is my favorite indy theme besides Scoot Andrews. On the ROH site, it has a listing of the music they use there, which I believe is their regular indy music. Dames
Chunk Posted March 9, 2003 Report Posted March 9, 2003 You may not count TNA as an Indy, but Ron Killings has kick arse entrance music. Some of the stuff the FWA uses for show themes is also very good. The Uprising one had like a bomb siren going of with a deep F W A, F W A chant over it. As soon as you put the tape in and press play, it sounds awesome. ChUnK!
Guest Phoenix Fury Legdrop Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 AJ Styles's new one blows chunks. I swear the Maximos and Red just use whatever song's next on the car stereo when they're driving to a show as intro music. Jay Briscoe's is pretty good (I know it's called "Green Iron Fist"). Kid Kool's old one's great in a funny way (New Kids On The Block's "The Right Stuff"). I dig Divine Storm's music (Static-X's "Cold"). Of course, my favorite of all-time: Nate Webb's whole intro (starts with Homer Simpson's version of The Flintstones' song, followed by Wheatus's "Teenage Dirtbag, or, on special occasion, THE A-TEAM SONG!!!)
Guest Sandman9000 Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 Backseats Boys use Giogrio Moroders "The Chase" as their music, and just having the two of them come out and do their schtick is entertaining as hell. So does Colt Cabana using "Copa Cabana" as his music as well. Funny as shit. Other CZW themes that I can remember off the top of my head. Zandig: Skid Row - Youth Gone Wild Wifebeater: Kool G Rap - Talk Like Sex Nick Mondo: Papa Roach - Last Resort Backseats: Above B-Boy: Easy-E - Real Mothafuckin' G's Adam Flash: 2 Live Crew - Me So Horny Danny Rose: Michael Jackson - Billie Jean H8 Club: Godsmack - Voodoo Lobo: Pro-Pain - One Man Army Rockin Rebel and Greg Matthews: Godsmack - Keep Away New School: Disturbed - Down With The Sickness Sonjay Dutt: Addicted - Truth Hurts Ruckus: Dr. Dre W/ Snoop Dogg - 187 Nick Berk: Butthole Surfers - They Came In

I think that was the Midnight Express theme. Its like 12 minutes song, and the same beat is repeated over and over and over again.
Guest Sandman9000 Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 Yeah, I think it was. It's not a bad song, and having Trent and Johnny do their heelish anticts is amusing.
Guest Rob Van Dam Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 Christopher Daniels = Best Indy Theme/Entrance
The Dames Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 I've got to agree with you there, RVD. I LOVE his entrance with Disposable Teens playing... Dames
PsychoDriver Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 Super Dragon: "Earth People" by Dr. Octagon Any of the Messiah's Themes (I don't like the songs but they work for him)
Guest subliminal_animal Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 Zandig: Skid Row - Youth Gone Wild Heh. That's funny because he's old. Or looks old. Yeah, I think it was. It's not a bad song, and having Trent and Johnny do their heelish anticts is amusing. It was. It's from originally from the movie "Midnight Express." That makes the ME seem so amateurish, doesn't it? Name and song from the same movie? Puh-lease. Most indy guys seem to use big nu-metal or rap singles from the past 3 or 4 years, the former seeming to be the favorite by a good bit. DMX is probably the one you here most often for rap, and I'd say it's a toss-up on the other side.
Guest bigdunn20 Posted March 13, 2003 Report Posted March 13, 2003 I remember back in 2000 and 2001 when CM Punk used "Ole" by tbe Bouncing Souls. He used to OWN the West St. Paul Armory for St Paul Championship (now Steel Domain) Wrestling, and when his music hit, he got a larger reaction that I have ever seen on the Indy level. Fans would even sing the song during the match.
Guest Nevermortal Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 Woohoo. Finally got Low Ki's theme on MP3. Now that's a fucking quality song.
Guest ShooterJay Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 Woohoo. Finally got Low Ki's theme on MP3. Now that's a fucking quality song. Where did you get it from?
Guest Nevermortal Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 Woohoo. Finally got Low Ki's theme on MP3. Now that's a fucking quality song. Where did you get it from? Some guy from the ProjectHonor boards. If anyone wants it, I'll e-mail it to them.
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 I still mark the fuck out when I hear the opening chords of "Self Esteem" and know American Dragon is comin' to fuck somebody up.
Guest ShooterJay Posted March 31, 2003 Report Posted March 31, 2003 Bumping the topic up with a couple of questions: What's EZ Money's theme? I know it's an AC/DC song but I can't remember the name. Also, for ChUnk, what's Jody Fleisch and Jonny Storm's theme (assuming they use the same one in the UK as they do stateside)?
Guest Jonathan Barber Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 Either XPW's Supreme ("Living Dead Girl," by Rob Zombie), Kaos ("Rock Super Star," by Cypress Hill), The H8 Club's theme, and Low Ki's theme.
Guest GroundZeroSplash Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 EZ Money uses Down on Me by Jackyl.
Chunk Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 Bumping the topic up with a couple of questions: What's EZ Money's theme? I know it's an AC/DC song but I can't remember the name. Also, for ChUnk, what's Jody Fleisch and Jonny Storm's theme (assuming they use the same one in the UK as they do stateside)? You can download snippets of both Jody Fleisch's and Doug Williams FWA entrance music here And you can even buy the full FWA album. Which is pretty good IMO. at the same link/site. Im not sure what Jonnys music is but i always thought it sounded like 5ive every body get down with him singing over it I may be wrong, but listen to it, it dont 'arf sound like 5ive ChUnK!
Guest Nevermortal Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 About Jonny Storm... Storm used 'Lets Dance' by 5ive in RoH once.....
Chunk Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 About Jonny Storm... Storm used 'Lets Dance' by 5ive in RoH once..... Thats the one "Lets Dance"> I knew it was 5ive! lol. Thats the one he uses in FWA aswell. At least im pretty sure it is. ChUnK!
Chunk Posted July 6, 2003 Report Posted July 6, 2003 Woohoo. Finally got Low Ki's theme on MP3. Now that's a fucking quality song. What is the name of that theme? The ROH site doesnt have it fully listed. I would appreciate it muchly if you could send it to me. By the way, sorry to bring this old old thread back. I thought it beter than starting a new one.
JustJoe2k5 Posted July 7, 2003 Report Posted July 7, 2003 I really like Christopher Daniels' theme music in every federation. A.J. Styles' "I Am" is pretty good to.
Chunk Posted July 7, 2003 Report Posted July 7, 2003 I basically brought up this topic, because im making a cd of ROH entrance themes. Does anyone know any up to date TNA ones, so i could do that as well?
