EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2003 Nate, the match you just described had more action packed into that match then pretty much every other match on the entire card. In less than five minutes!
Guest natholy Report post Posted April 10, 2003 It may have had more action than the entire card, but the action made no sense what so ever as I said before the Kid had done his neck in bad (after several Jarrett piledrivers) and they had milked it big time leading into the match.. The Kid no sold everything and did his usual highspots not selling the neck one bit. Just didn't make sense and had me scratching my head at home, while watching it. regards nate holynski
Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted April 11, 2003 I'd have to go with kurt vs. brock at mania. i think people are looking at that match with rose-colored glasses because that is NOT a **** match. *** 1/2 is being generous. i really wish it was a blow-all new hybrid of shoot, amateur, and wwe style but it really was just 10 minutes of laying on the mat with a few minutes of missed spots and dangerous moves that meant nothing after that. Guest Austin3164life Report post Posted April 11, 2003 Although I understand both of their injuries at the time, I was extremely surprised at the largely unspectacular match between Austin and Michaels at 'Mania 14. I remember the HUGE hype going into that match, but it was basically a solid match, quality wise. Austin/Jericho had a very good Raw main event in April '01, but I didn't like their Vengeance or No Way Out 02 encounters. I don't know why people look highly upon this match, but I wasn't too high on the 1997 Final Four ppv Main Event match with Bret/Taker/Austin/Vader. Sure, it was a pretty decent brawl, but that's it.
