Best WWF/WWE Tag Team Match

I went for Edge & Rey Mysterio vs Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit 'cause that match was fucking awesome and Benoit/Angle went over.

I voted for Bulldogs/Dream Team because for me, it was the feel good match for the wrestling fan. Everyone knew The Bulldogs were superior, they were never in THAT much peril, and in a way it made you think that they would get shafted out of the titles. Luckily, they weren't.

Benoit/Jericho vs Austin/HHH was really awesome. I watched this match about five times and E-V-E-R-Y time, I really got myself into the match.

- HHH & Steve Austin vs Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho

- Edge & Rey Mysterio vs Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit

 

voted for the later since the workrate was better IMO, but i marked more for the Jericho-Benoit match

I voted for HBK/SCSA vs. Owen/Bulldog. Awesome.

 

One glaring omission I think is the tag team Survivor Series match from 1988. Not sure if it really even counts tho.

 

Also, the Steiner Bros beat Money Inc(Rotundo/DiBiase) in a steel cage match on a pre-Summerslam tv special in 93. Very good match.

bulldogs vs. dream team is my personal favorite out of all of the matches in the poll. it also holds a special place in my heart because 1) ozzy is at ringside and 2)WM2 was the first wrestling show I ever ordered.

 

as a match, i is just as good as any of the others mentioned, esp. the overrated hhh/austin vs the chris's.

Probably not the best on the list, but my favorite has to be Hart Foundation/ Brainbusters title match from Summerslam 1989.

Yeah, I kinda wanted to put that one on the list, but then I realised it was 2/3 falls. And if I put that on there I'd have to put a TLC or ladder match.

I went with the Harts vs. Anderson & Blanchard from the Meadowlands. Often forgotten but a clinic as to what great tag team wrestling should be.

Austin/HHH vs. Benoit/Jericho is the greatest tag match I've ever seen Live..and not on a tape 5 years later.

 

I'd go with that....unreal match.

I stay true to my word-Angle/Benoit vs. Rey/Edge is simply the best WWE Tag Match I've ever seen. I've seen almost every match on that list, and I can tell you right now that from a story standpoint, and a workrate standpoint, and a booking standpoint, that it will stand out in my mind as one of the best tag matches I've ever seen, and without a doubt, the best tag match ever in the WWE/F.

Not only the greatest Tag Match I've ever seen, but the greatest Raw match as well. It went for about 24 minutes on a one hour Raw, and had excellent pacing, and great action. Such a great, great match.
