Guest Plushy Al Logan Report post Posted March 12, 2003 I recently saw a thread on bringing back the Weekend jobber murdering shows, and it immediately brought back memories of when the "Real Wrestlers" would kill the "Wannabes." I was thinking there should be a thread on your favorite squashes. Favorites: Earthquake- Sitting on people ruled Nailz- ALways enjoyed a near fatal beating Natural Disasters- See Earthquake Crush- Remind me of my hero Jason. Undertaker- See Crush Yokozuna- See Earthquake Nasty Boys- Pit Stops were funny The Mountie- Who doesent love the tazer? Sgt. Slaughter- Noogie, noogie, noogie! Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted March 12, 2003 The Headshrinkers vs. P.J. Walker (Justin Credible) and Aaron Ferguson from RAW in the summer of 1993. They beat the living shit out of Walker, get tired of that and then throw him over the ropes and grab an unsuspecting Ferguson by his ears and drag him over the ropes into the ring to beat on him. He gets loose and crawls on all fours over to Walker who is laying out cold on the apron. Ferguson smacks, pokes and prods Walker trying to wake him up so he can tag out, but he won't budge and the 'Shrinkers just take Aaron and finish squashing him for the pin. That's how you get a team over as crazy ass kickers you don't want to mess with. It was a fucking slaughter.

Betty Houle 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2003 I liked a lot of Randy Savage jobber matches from 1985-1987 because he usually gave the guy a lot. His match with Sivi Afi from August or September of '87 (right before Savage turned baby) was a fun one. one exception - I remember some match from late 1985 where the jobber was hitting on Liz so Savage attacked him, beat the piss out of him, and dropped the flying elbow-- all without taking off his robe or shades! The Dames 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2003 (edited) I remember Earthquake squashing this one guy on Superstars. He clotheslined him...and the guy did a 360 on Tenta's ARM. Oh, and the Pedigree from HELL is up there too. Dames Edited March 13, 2003 by The Dames

Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted March 13, 2003 I loved the Undertaker matches from '91-'92 where he would just no-sell everything and keep coming. Whoever said he seemed like Jason was right on.

Guest Tod deKindes Report post Posted March 14, 2003 The old Headshrinkers slaughters were classics. There's one I remember when the Shrinkers killed one of the guys early and casually dragged him by the arm to his corner so his partner could tag in. I also like when jobbers get an ego. Case in point: 1993, Mr. Perfect vs Scott D'Amore. Scott gets a few moves and knockdowns in on Curt. He starts acting confident and LEAVES THE RING (?) like his job was done. He then retreats to the back. Not to be outdone, Perfect storms to the back. Then out of the curtains emerges Curt, with Scott by the ears! That was a classic "You DO NOT fuck with Mr. Perfect, bitch!" moment. I also liked when Doink pinned jobbers in record time. It always went: Dink distracts jobber, chase ensues, Doink catches jobber in german suplex, 1-2-3.

Guest Plushy Al Logan Report post Posted March 14, 2003 Does anyone else remember the time Papa Shango caught some jobber on fire? That happened frequently in 92, he also cuased oil to drip from the Warrior's hairline. My cousin tried getting oil to drip from his hair, but made a big mess. Undertaker squashing in his early career nailing people then stuffing them in bodybags. Does anyone remeber the 30 second match betwwen him, and Col. Mustafa. I'll recap it for you. Col. Mustafa enters the ring with Saddam Hussein, or we were led to believe it was. Undertaker steps in, Paul Beaer doesent even get a chance to take off to remove his coat, when Mustafa pummels both of them. Taker Tombstones him, and pins him. The Col. is dragged off in a body bag, never to be seen again, that is until he started hanging around Bob Backlund. That was the only time, the Undertaker pinned someone with his coat, and hat on. Guest mw679 Report post Posted March 18, 2003 I always loved watching Vader completely destroy jobbers on Saturday Night. I think he powerbombed a guy on the concrete floor once. That always made Vader a badass in my book. Also, that smoke blowing elephant mask was creepy as hell.

Guest the_Staunton Report post Posted March 23, 2003 For me it would have to be one time Earthquake squashed a guy, who was carried out on a stretcher, and then Quake went out in the aisle and dragged the guy back in the ring and splashed him while he was on the stretcher. That's mean. And any time around Survivor Series 90 when all of team Quake would surround the ring during jobber matches
Guest nWoScorpion Report post Posted March 23, 2003 UT v. Snuka from WM VII. LOL. On a Superstars of Wrestling Justin Bradshaw pinned Makin a Difference Fatu with the lariat in 9 seconds. HAHA. Guest y2jailbait Report post Posted March 23, 2003 The squash between HHH and Buck Zumoff on "The Game" DVD is a cool one. Zumoff had to have been the dirtest jobber i've ever seen. Nowadys, jobbers look cleaner and fitter, but Zumoff looked like one of the guys off "Bumfights."
Guest MillenniumMan831 Report post Posted March 23, 2003 I was always an Armstrong Brother mark. From 1994-1998 (not counting Brian going to WWF), those poor guys couldn't catch a break. Brad, Scott, Steve, and Brian were fed to the 3 Faces of Fear, Bluebloods, Harlem Heat, Arn Anderson, Vader, ect. on a weekly basis on all the WCW shows. Pro, Worldwide, Saturday Night, even Nitro once in a while hosted Amstrong Brother losses. However, I'll never forget a 1996 main event of Pro. WCW Champion Ric Flair w/ Liz and Woman vs. Brad Armstrong in a non-title match. Amrstrong survived a Figure-4 (A big shock to me) and made a comeback which was stopped by interference by Woman. BUT WAIT . . . the referee saw it and DQ'd Flair and gave the match to Brad Armstrong. Damn, I should've taped it!

Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted March 27, 2003 I used to love when the Ultimate Warrior squashed a jobber and then would carry him to the back on his shoulder.
Guest Crazy Dan Report post Posted March 27, 2003 Before the Road Warriors would wear shoulder pads... They used to come into "Iron Man" and absolutely destroy their oppanents. I mean before you knew it, the Road Warriors had their oppanent up in the Doomsday Device. I also would like it when Ultimate Warrior would get his oppanent up in a gorilla press, and simply walk over to the ropes and simply drop his oppanent to the concrete floor. That too me look sick.
