Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted March 28, 2003 Report Posted March 28, 2003 Diesel... Powerbomb... 8 Seconds... WWF Champion... Nuff Said.
Guest dreamer420 Posted March 28, 2003 Report Posted March 28, 2003 Bob Backlund wasn't exactly a jobber though.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 the best one ever has to be Vader completely dismantling his jobber foes
Guest dreamer420 Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 I was always a fan of the jobber handicap matches too where someone like Hogan, or Andre would take on a two or three jobbers at one time and completely dismantle them.

I still think Quake was the best at doing jobber squahses.
Guest dreamer420 Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 Yeah, Earthquake was cool when he had his gimmick of sending his opponents to the hospital. I believe at Wrestlemania 6 Gorilla Monsoon said it was sometime like 28 dudes.

Rendclaw Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 The best singles squash I can remember (with an honorable mention to Taker vs. Snuka at WM VII) was Vader vs. Tom Zenk at the Great American Bash 89.... if the Z-Man hadn't braced for the Splash properly, Vader would have KILLED him. The best tag team squash is a draw between The Road Warriors vs. a jobber team, where they got the pinfall after Animal hit one of the jobbers with a clothesline that Bradshaw would give his right nut to possess. The other squash is the Faces of Fear vs. High Voltage during Nitro back in 96.... as a friend of a friend said about it, "Non-stop pain."
Guest lomasmoney Posted April 13, 2003 Report Posted April 13, 2003 My favorite was when Saturday Night Jobber 423232342 got paralyzed by Paul Orndorff's piledriver. Come to think about it..... EVERY jobber Orndorff fought got paralyzed by the Piledriver!
DrVenkman PhD Posted April 13, 2003 Report Posted April 13, 2003 some Steiner brothers match from Superstars in 1993 I found. Scott and Rick basically kill the guys with Dragon and German suplexes. I've always liked LOD vs Power and Glory from WMVII.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted April 13, 2003 Report Posted April 13, 2003 A while back(in 1989) Bossman squashed Jim Powers and proceeded to MURDER him with the night stick afterwards. I love that squash. Rockers/Power & Glory form SS90 is a great squash.
Guest CanadianChick Posted April 13, 2003 Report Posted April 13, 2003 Raw 1997. RVD vs. Jeff Hardy. Jeff got NO offence in at all. It's kinda funny to look back when Hardy was a jobber. HIm and Matt have to be the only jobbers to make it big.
Guest MillenniumMan831 Posted April 13, 2003 Report Posted April 13, 2003 One of my favorite WCW jobbers was Mark Starr. That poor guy couldn't catch a break despite having a clean-cut look and pretty good ability. And no, I don't count him as 1/2 of Men at Work a break. He was mostly on Saturday Night and Worldwide, although he would pop up on Nitro for the rare appearance or two.
Rendclaw Posted April 14, 2003 Report Posted April 14, 2003 One Steiner Bros. match I remember, Rick Steiner stiffed a jobber so hard with a Steinerline, he broke his nose... Rick immediately pinned him after a moment of "okay, now what do I do?" I remember another one where they DDT'ed a jobber from the top.... no wonder wrestlers need spinal fusions nowadays with sick ass bumps like that...
