WWE looking to change in-ring style

WWE never seems to understand that injuries come from two things

1. wear and tear

2. freak accidents

Indy guys don't get hurt as often as WWE guys because they don't work nearly as much.

And it's silly to hold off on "dangerous" moves, when guys are getting injured on backdrops, clotheslines, or just walking around the ring.

Well, the knee injuries would be reduced if the went to normal ropes. The ring, if there wasn't so bouncy, would also help out the knees and neck. If they started using TV as more of a vehicle and making the long matches an ocasional appearance rather than weekly and meaningless it would help. Basically if they moved away from the hossitized style and let their workers do what they know and work in an environment that's a little better off.

They need to fix the ropes anyway for all the springboard shit people do. So I'm all for it, anyway.

They just have to work smarter. Don't get rid of any moves, just put more importance on them.

EXACTLY... they shouldn't need to do 20 German suplexes in a match... One should be enough to set up a wrestler to take a finisher and the Rolling Germans should get the three automatically.

The German suplex thing is the perfect example. Watching the tag match last night I am seeing Benoit do the triple and it's like a body slam. It doesn't *do* anything other than look pretty.

The Rolling Germans used to mean something. Now, because the WWF makes you do your signature stuff every match, sometimes on multiple occasions, they mean nothing.

Yeah, WWE should let Benoit use dragon and other suplexes again other than just the Rolling Germans and the snap suplex, but I know they won't.

Rolling Germans use to be something special until Benoit went out with his injury and Angle started using them in every match.

This is stupid. The injuries aren't going to stop until you stop expecting all your guys to have body builder bodies.

The bigger these guys get the less flexible and more injury prone they get.

You ever wonder why Lucha and puro guys get hurt a lot less. It's b/c they don't get too bulky.

Yeah but even the smaller guys are encouraged to add on the muscle.

Let's take a look at the injuries...

Neck: Austin, Bob Holly, Lita, Edge, Angle, Rhyno (These are mostly "small" wrestlers, although Holly, Austin, and Rhyno border on hossality)

Bicep: Bradshaw, Nash, Kane (Hosses)

Tricep: Batista (Hoss)

Shoulder: Edge, Orton (small wrestlers)

Quad: Nash, Triple H (Hosses)

Elbow: Taker, Triple H (Hosses)

Knees: 90% of the roster

The type of injury depends on the type of wrestler... most of the actual muscle tears are the hosses while most of the impact injuries tend to be the small guys.

Well, it's 1Wrestling first of all.

Second of all, we've seen a lot of odd posts in the past few months on everything from wrestlers keeping kayfabe going in their real lives, to people suddently starting to realize that Vince pushes big guys just because their big (OMG! FILM AT 11!)

Seeing that NOBODY has been injured by big bumps as of late, I kinda doubt the validity of this.

I predict WWE will have a two month "off-season" soon.

*Gasp* But--but--"our season never ends!"

They need some Neck Training Too.

How can a broken down Puro star (See the Puro folder) take the STONKING~ Bump that could end a carrer and only gets his Orbital Bone popped out of alignment, But (Insert The Brand Star Here) can get a Neck broken by a bad spot, that does happen. But if thats the case, then nearly most of the TNA, Indy, and Puro stars should be out of a job by now.

I say its the Brands Style. Either Vince "Inoki" McMahan gets his ASS in gear and do the following- He a adopts a mixure of Strong Style/Techs in his matches, or End the era of the Heavyweight in The Brand. Its That simple.

If he wants to fix the the ring, (Its a large damn Kiddie Ring- NO Self-respecting wresler would even GET on that rope, let alone BUMP to the floor) Get a stronger but not too strong mat, better stiffer springs, and a strong ring rope. EVERY damn TIME I see HHH in a match, HE cant GET his damn FOOT on the MAT square! No wonder he is SLOW. This the is same with The Rock somewhat. They also need some kind of soft turf like substance, that dont hinders the wrestlers mobilty.

The next thing, is to let the wrestlers do what they do best...(Yall know the word.)

Get rid of Jim Cornette. please. If he is still on the past, tell him that he needs to get with the times, and know that this is not 1998 and never will be for 10 years- and by then WE dont even know if there is going to be a Brand or TNA. Same for "Inoki" (Even though the real Inoki has calm down somewhat) Give the reins to Shane, and tell that HGH to lose some of that Water Weight before he marries Steph. We cant have two people having there water break now would we? And while we are at changes, Have anybody seen Bob Sapp? God lordy Booker T could be just as big...if he JUST wins WM!

But WWE logic states=

Hoss GOOD

HOSS vs HOSS GOOD

Hoss Hoss Hoss = DoublePlusGOOD

HOSS that fucks with the Billion Dollar Joshi wannabe Princesess beats Booker T in WM = I am gone from RAW for good but WWE says, we dont care because its GOOOOOOD!

And you wonder why we love UM.
